Seacliffe Inn

It was a great one night stay with friends. Carpets could use a good cleaning but other than that it was a great stay. Had dinner at the restaurant which was very good.

The hotel location is perfect as it is right by the water. However the rooms are average. Old carpets and very hard beds. Our room was beside all the air conditioning units so you constantly heard banging from the units turning on and off.

Our lakeview room was very clean, recently renovated snd quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was a guest service common area on the second floor providing coffee, tea, ice, dishes, glassware 24/7
The check-in was quick and the receptionist was friendly and courteous.
The location right on the Lake Erie and the Leamington Promenade is just perfect and easy for exploring Point Pelee.

Seacliffe Inn in Leamington is a gem.
The rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and situated with a view to the beach area.
The person at the Front desk was friendly and helpful.
I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it, but there are a couple of things I would like to bring up for further review.
The room would have been much more enjoyable with a couch, rather than bar stools.
The on-site dining experience is far too expensive for the beach atmosphere. I would have liked to try it, but the dinner bill for 2 would was similarly priced with two expensive restaurants in Toronto (Jacob's & Co, Harbour 360). When we went to view the patio, there was only one family sitting there at peak dinner time. I am guessing I am not alone in my thoughts.
Thankfully there was Ray's Rib restaurant within walking distance. It had decent food and reasonable prices.
I would return to this Inn. Please don't let my added commentary dissuade anyone else from staying there.

This hotel is very nice with quantities to be admired. We were excited about the lakeview and the beach.Free parking is a plus. It is located close enough to town to find everything you would need.
The evening noise from the bar beneath us made it difficult to sleep. If peace and quiet is your thing, than choose elsewhere.

We had a great stay here! The room was nice and being right on the lake was very calming and beautiful. Check in and out were easy! I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room, quiet for the most part though lots of constant mechanical electrical humming coming through the walls that we tuned out as the visit progressed and TV had intermittent high pitched tone. Mattress was very firm and felt either really old or entry level comfort quality for both myself and my wife, as we felt the results in our back and hips the next morning. Close to beach and Point Pelee and minutes from main drag to find places to eat. Restaurant on site looked nice but very expensive compared to town options so we ate out instead. Free parking.

Fab location, wonderfully renovated, super comfy bed, hotel quality linens, spotlessly clean, super friendly and helpful staff- our 3'rd time here and absolutely Love It!!!

Location to marina and beach is great.

Place was cool, WiFi was pretty spotty otherwise had no issues

We liked that it was close to the beach, nice watering ponds around the hotel, bedroom was comfortable.
We didn't like the noise of the AC units outside our window, and we faced the parking lot and other motel for that price. also the hotel was not busy at all, so we could have been moved to the rooms facing the beach and lake area as a complimentary show of thanks. Every time the AC unit would start and end in our room , there was a clunk in the ductwork waking me up througn the night.

We were expecting much nicer accommodations for the price. The view of the water was less than stellar, the bed was a very SMALL double... not suitable if you are 6 ft tall or more, the fridge in rooms was noisy, that lack of light made the room very dark and a bedside nightstand only on one side of the bed.. so forget reading a book in bed. The ventilation in bathrooms was extremely loud. The worst part for those of us who struggle with anytype of smoke is although do not smoke is posted ... it is never enforced and you walk through a cloud of smoke from cigarettes or vaps as you exit the hotel. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere for the same price.

We spent one night here on our 'weekend trip' and found a little gem of a place. Our room hard surface floors making it feel clean and fresh, our view was picture perfect Lake Erie, and the dining room served us a delicous meal! A perfect stopover for Pelee Island and Point Pelee National Park.
