Was charged a late checkout fee even though I checked out at 7:00am. After some discussion the hotel admitted that they made a mistake with the fee but a month later I still got no refund.

The stay was outstanding and notably value for money in term of strategy location, prevent from traffic jam in the city, not far away from kl centre, bed is really comfort moreover toilet provide bath tube that i not really use it but this time i had try it. Supricingly the ceiling shower head spread water wide enough to cover your entire body. This is the most fantastic thing when your are tired enough to enjoy the shower. The breastfast was absolutely great and had improved alot from previous. There are More dishes for you to choice and the breastfast is not longer boring.

My stay at Wyndham Grand Bangsar left me with decidedly mixed feelings about what "Grand" really means in a five-star context. The property presents itself as a sophisticated business hotel in cosmopolitan Bangsar, and while certain aspects genuinely impressed, several critical shortcomings made me question whether this hotel truly deserves its star rating. The room itself was exceptional—spacious, clean, and equipped with one of the most comfortable beds I've encountered in any hotel. However, the overall experience was marred by very slow service from all the staff members, noise issues that made peaceful rest challenging, and a guest demographic that transformed common areas into chaotic spaces during peak hours. It's a hotel that excels in physical comfort but struggles with operational consistency and crowd management.

LOCATION: The location sits in an awkward middle ground. You're positioned between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, which sounds convenient but in practice means you're not truly close to anything. Kerinchi LRT station is about a 10-minute walk away—manageable but not exactly at your doorstep. Mid Valley Megamall is a 5-minute drive, which is decent for shopping, but forget about strolling to nearby restaurants or cafes. The immediate surroundings are fairly barren in terms of dining options, and crossing the busy roads without proper pedestrian infrastructure can be genuinely hazardous. The hotel is adjacent to Menara Telekom, which is great if that's where your business is, but otherwise, you'll need to rely on Grab or taxis for most outings

DINE + DRINK: The lobby cafe is great for a quick Coffee. Didnt have a chance to try out the restaurant to comment on food.

ROOM: We stayed in Room 2708, Which was a GRAND SUITE, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough with a nice big Living room, and a bigger Bedroom; VIEW: Sweet view of the cityscape ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality Toiletries by a boutique brand!

FACILITIES: Very good Gym with a full range of weights, workout stations, and Cardio machines perfect for a full on workout! TEh swimming pool is pretty big and nice too.

SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to SERENA from the front desk for enhancing our stay

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV(one each in the living room and bedroom) dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Great location and facilities but it’s the service that rates above the other hotels in the area . Having been a frequent guest for over 10 years I can highly recommend staying at this hotel, consistently delivering great service

The hotel itself is great and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the location is not the best. The hotel is close to Universiti Malaya, but not much else except for a shopping mall and two restaurants. It is a lot of traffic and you have to pay attention if you try to cross the streets. There is a metro station not to far away, but you have to change line several times to get to Kuala Lumpurs different locations.

Good food, nice people, clean, close to city center, accessible, peaceful, transportation is easy, etc.Very good. Highly recommended.

I stayed with my family at your hotel two weeks ago with two separate bookings. Since it was a staycation with my kids, we preferred to have connecting rooms. Although our booking was made quite last-minute, we tried our luck requesting it ,and thankfully, the manager, Ms Lyn, was extremely helpful in arranging a nice connecting room for us. The front office staff , Mr Eilham who checked us in were also very friendly and helpful. They truly deserve recognition for their excellent service!

However, I would like to highlight one issue regarding the breakfast buffet. We had our breakfast around 9:00 a.m., but almost all the food trays were empty and not refilled promptly. Some items were eventually replenished, but it took quite some time. The restaurant staff also seemed a bit unfriendly; they were pushing trolleys with empty plates quite roughly, making the place noisy. Additionally, some staff had difficulty understanding our requests, and we didn’t see any manager around during that time.

Overall, our stay was pleasant thanks to the front office and manager Ms Lyn and the front office staff Mr Eilham , but I hope the breakfast experience can be improved in terms of service and food replenishment.

Was pullman hotel when checked says WYNDHAM GRAND HOTEL my ticket had said pullman hotel updating on this hotel is not done a proper way was shocked when got dropped of after 13hr flight

My recent stay at the Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur was a study in contrasts. While the physical comforts of the hotel room reached impressive heights, the culinary experience at breakfast was a severe letdown, leaving me with a deeply mixed impression of a hotel that struggles to live up to its prestigious "Grand" branding.

The Room: A Haven of Comfort

The highlight of the stay was, without a doubt, the hotel room. It was nothing short of superb. The hotel has clearly invested in providing a truly restful environment. The bed was a centerpiece of comfort, but the real star was the square pillow – its firm support was genuinely remarkable and contributed to one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a hotel.

The bathroom, while functional, had its quirks. The shower was positioned at a slightly weird angle, but this was a minor issue easily forgiven by the fantastic water pressure. It was strong and consistent, making for an incredibly refreshing start to the day. For those prioritizing sleep quality and in-room comfort, the Wyndham Grand Bangsar delivers exceptionally well.

The Breakfast: A Culinary Catastrophe

Unfortunately, the pleasantness of the night was completely erased by the morning's breakfast buffet. It was, frankly, horrible. As someone looking forward to classic Malaysian breakfast staples, the disappointment was profound.

The lontong was tasteless; the rice cakes (nasi impit) were watery and lacked any texture, as if they had been merely soaked in plain water. The accompanying vegetables and gravy were devoid of seasoning, missing the fundamental saltiness and flavour that makes the dish what it is.

Hoping for redemption elsewhere, I found little solace. The only palatable item was the plain porridge, but its quality came from standard canned condiments rather than any culinary skill in the kitchen. The chee cheong fun was clearly a frozen product that hadn't even been steamed properly, resulting in a clumpy, unpleasant texture. Perhaps most shockingly, the roti canai, despite being made at a live station, had the hard, chewy consistency of a pre-made frozen product. It lacked the flaky, freshly-made quality one would expect.

Upon learning that the head chef has been with the hotel for two years, it's difficult to understand how such fundamental errors in a Malaysian hotel's breakfast offering could persist.

Final Verdict: Not So "Grand"

A hotel experience is the sum of its parts. While the Wyndham Grand Bangsar excels in providing a physically comfortable and superb room, it fails spectacularly in its food and beverage department, at least at breakfast. The "Grand" in its name implies a certain standard of all-around excellence, which it does not meet.

Based on this experience, the hotel feels misbranded. The exceptional room might warrant a premium, but the abysmal food quality is more befitting of a budget brand. For the price and the name, guests should expect better. Until the dining experience is elevated to match the quality of its rooms, I would say it feels less like a Wyndham Grand and more like a Days Inn with comfortable pillows.

They really enjoyed their time there throughout their stay at your property. They received great care and attention during their stay and it made them feel welcomed and cared for. Spacious room and bathroom. Cleaning was not very good. Missing towels one day, no refill of teabags another day. Was here for a conference. The breakfast, lunch and dinners provided were quite bad, with undercooked prata and pasta that was still hard and uncooked. Location is alright, linked to a LRT. There is a mall nearby but it is not easy to access and the weather makes it too hot to walk to the mall.

The reception team are very nice, room service id okay. The lobby cafe is very bad, and the Host named Vina was the rudest staff I encountered in a hotel I don’t know how she ended working there.
Apart from that the room is spacious and bathroom is nice. Could’ve been a better experience with a better staff.

Check in was a bit stressful, because itnwas written they accept check in only until 22:30 and we were expecting to arrive at 0:00h. It was also problematic that they were not answering the phone when calling...

But when finally they did pick up the phone, they confirmed they will wait for us. And once there it was 5 stars service - helped to get the luggage to the room and the room was very clean and comfortable.

So all in all we were happy but do recommend the management to switch to a 24/7 reception - this is at the end a 5 stars hotel.

The room i reservered was not the room i was given. When brought to staffs attention they were unwilling to correct.
