Pros:

The location is perfect for people traveling with dogs. The loop around the small lake is ideal for walks.
Liisa at reception was very helpful and printed some documents for us. Thank you!

Cons:

Kleine Auszeit im Paradies und doch schnell in der stadt

die außergewöhnliche lage,der see,der pool,das großzügige Zimmer,das freundliche und hilfsbereite personal

Cons:

ein wasserkocher für tee oder kaffee wäre toll und die öffnungszeit vom pool ist nicht so schön (hat bis 15.00 uhr geschlossen)

Hotel room floor wasn't cleaned before arrival, sand, little rocks all over the room. SPA area was cold, pool temperatures not enough to stay.

Great location with good facilities
Pros:

Beautiful location next to a small lake ❤️ Being able to go to sauna and swim in natural water is not an experience provided by many hotels - not even in Finland where we have thousands of lakes. There are also indoor pools and a jacuzzi, if you prefer swimming in warm water. Sauna is available in the evening and in the morning. Small gym with ok equipment and a lovely walking path around the Korpilampi lake. Our room was pretty basic, a bit warm with no proper AC, but silent and dark enough. You can see and feel the history in the buildings, but the renovations give an overall impression of timeless Scandic design. Welcoming personnel at the reception. Breakfast was also pretty good with great variety of foods, also for gluten-intolerant guests, and even though the hotel was full at the time of our visit, it was still easy to find a table. You can go and enjoy the sauna and pools also as a non-guest for 15 eur, and brekkie for 20 eur.

Cons:

Would have preferred a proper AC in the room.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Räumlichkeiten kaum noch zeitgemäß
Pros:

Sehr schön am Korpilampi gelegen, sehr ruhig, kurze Entfernung in die Stadt

Cons:

Zimmer ziemlich eng, Badezimmer sehr klein, keine regelbare Klimatisierung, die trotz geringer Außentemperatur nachts wie aus allen Rohren kühlte.

Good, however...
Pros:

The location is good, with beautiful nature around and a lake. Sport facilities, sauna and swimming pool are good. I wish there were more sitting places at the pool though. The staff is very friendly :)
Our 2 comfort rooms were pretty spacious, with big TVs. There are also clean bathrooms with spacious shower cabins. Our daughter really appreciated the fruits and vegetables at the breakfast buffet, especially the watermelon that was a hit for her :)

Cons:

We stayed in this hotel approx. 10-11 years ago. And had very good memories of it. However, it seems like it hasn't been renovated a bit since then. Pretty worn out. No kettle/cups in the rooms. For heavy tea-drinkers like us it was a huge miss.
We booked 2 interconnecting "comfort" rooms. Ended up in rooms overlooking the inner courtyard, where a truck arrived every morning at 7:00 a.m. and remained with its engine running during loading and unloading, which naturally woke us up.

Saying all this, according to the staff, there is planned a renovation in the hotel. Also I was told that other guests also mentioned missing a kettle in their rooms.

Все понравилось вкусный 😋 завтрак.Ресторан отличный вкусный рыбный суп 🍜 салат цезарь с семгой,бургер был острый.Персонал приветливый подскажут все расскажут.)Сауна басейн Спорт зал все супер.Природа красота.Прокат велосипедов 2 часа 35 евро.(дороговато)Всегда сюда возвращаемься.
