The 2 young men behind bar when we arrived were unbelievably polite and helpful.The room was super clean and comfortable.Food was astonishing,delicious and very well priced.In the morning there was a cleaner doing floors a cleaner doing tables and another doing windows..What an absolute treat,will be back without a doubt.Thank you.
Breakfast was fine. Great value for money. Location eas perfect for us as we came for a funeral
The only problem was that the water pipes were extremely noisy. The room and bed were very comfortable and we slept well until somebody used the shower and the rattling water pipes were very loud and woke us up
Thought the breakfast could have been more variety . Some cold meats. Had to ask staff for some more Cheese. Staff was sweeping mopping and hoovering around us will eating.

I got upgraded to a quieter room, as builders were in working in the room oppersite me and the skip was outside my window.
Think walls, you can hear everything. I worked nights so I needed to sleep during the days.
Reception stuff was friendly
The room is too small , the carpet smelled and the bedding was itchy and the mattress really bad felt like you sleepy on the floor ,the furniture was falling apart old and really not up to 21st standard
My husband and I went in for the Valentines mea,It was Absolutely amazing a sharing starter we did not expect lovely surprise, I had the Chicken my husband had the cod wrapped in salmon both wete delicious and a board of beautiful sweet treats for pudding amazing all beautiful presented a large glass of Prosecco,all for £22-50 .The best meal we have had in a very long time and we have been to a lot of high class restaurants, The Raven is Top of them all...Our compliments to the chef and the very attractive staff..Thank you all for a lovely Valentines night our 58th together ❤️ xx

My wife was not comfortable to use the share toilets in the middle of the night when I called to get a en suite I was told we would be up graded to a en suite rooms when we checked in we was told the was en suite rooms because the last time I stayed there they gave us a room with a in suite and noise from the next room was a bit over the top
Share bathroom and the lack of noise from the rooms next to us staff where wonderful and the restaurant and food were great
