Nothing
The room was freezing, decoration was a disgrace, staff were terrible! Rude, unhelpful and to make it worse we were woken at 10am New Year’s Day and told there was a gas leak and had 30 minutes to vacate the room! Not much of an emergency! We were then moved to another hotel owned by the same owner which to say was one step up from sleeping on the streets would be kind! We were told we had to leave the hotel due to a gas leak leading to the water being turned off? The gas leak started in their “cellar” then moved to the Main Street and now meant it was the council who told them they had to close the hotel? No other hotels were closed due to the “gas leak” the receptionist then left us in reception while she went to check the room, telling us that a guest had just lost a teaspoon and were refusing to pay the £1 fine for this! All the while we are standing in a hotel experiencing a gas leak! Absolute lies! I was told that there were 2 rooms checked in for the night of the 1st, we were then sent to a hell hole hotel that they also owned, no transport provided, and the room rate was almost £20 per night cheaper! No compensation provided, I asked for the taxi to be paid for and was told that we could have a free drink at the other hotel, as long as it was from the draught selection as that would lose the owner less profit! The hotel is run down and falling to pieces and run by an absolute idiot manager! She wasn’t even convincing in the lies she was telling! I would avoid this hotel at all costs!!
Location
Room and bathroom was pleasant and beds were comfortable.
The lift was broken.
Me and my partner had to carry our toddlers buggy and luggage up two flights of stairs.
I paid extra for a sea view room but the windows were excessively leaking cold in. regardless of the radiator being on the room was freezing.
We asked for extra blankets. The staff refused.
We asked for a heater for our room and was only found one on the basis that we had a 2 year old with us.
Didn’t book so don’t know
It was good just if they had a communal kitchen area for customers to use for children essentials to make it more family friendly, it would be really helpful.
Everything was so clean and bed was comfy. Had a bit of a walk to the central pier but that wasn't a problem
Rooms where basic but nice clean.
WiFi was none existent. Couldn't even get data until really late at night.. on departure, should be more than one person on the desk due to checking rooms for losses
Location great room comfortable
Reception and corridors needed a makeover
After reading some bad reviews we were worried after booking. But honestly do not take any notice to bad reviews. Lady on reception was lovely speaking away to our son, greeted with a smile. Room was spotless, very clean and had everything you need for our stay. Beds were comfortable, we liked how it was like a little separate room so had a double then was split so the single was behind a different wall, giving us our own space. Location was perfect and amazing view of the beach and pier. £60 security deposit asked for on arrival and cash. No problems with this being returned to us on checkout. Would definitely recommend this place and we would definitely stay next time we are in Blackpool. For a £59 stay you possibly couldn’t ask for any more
No issues whatsoever
Staff very friendly. Good for the money!
Lack of parking.
location is good if wish to visit south shore/ pleasure beach/ south pier
YOU WILL BE CONNED AT THIS HOTEL. Staff WILL find ANY REASON NOT TO GIVE YOU £60 CASH DEPOSIT BACK. ALLEDGED DAMAGES AT CHECKOUT. Went room only, on arrival room was not very clean, no working lift to get to rooms on first and second floor (so for older/ disabled guests this hotel would not be suitable). sink wouldn’t drain. Staff very rude, particularly the woman at the front desk. Hotel clearly needs upgrades. There is no inside bar and the outside Bar is not open in the evening, Wouldn’t stay here again. Health inspector really needs to take a look at this hotel.
Everything is value for price
Only thing lift out of use everytime we have used the hotel .. as my daughter is a wheel chair user
Absolutely nothing

No heating freeze to death
