For those who appreciate historical beauty.
Pros:

The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. I loved the sheets! (Buttery smooth!) A small but nice bathroom. The facilities smelled so good! Beautifully maintained!

Cons:

Unfortunately, all these beautiful, historical buildings are literally surrounded by highways. Which means you can hear the traffic and large trucks all night long. You can also hear people going up the stairs and the room above…since it is an old house.

Perfect for stop overs and great value
Pros:

Location was excellent just a short walk into the historic town, breakfast at the gorgeous Bistro across from the hotel was a great way to start the day.

Nice & quiet place and area to stay!!
Pros:

Looked the overall look and setup of the place. The room was cozy, and I really enjoyed how quiet it was at the hotel and the streets outside of it. It's easy to walk/ get around in the downtown area.

Cons:

The only thing that was an issue was dealing with the TV and finding things to watch. It took a while.

Pros:

An absolute haven of a place to stay. A complex of no outlet brick roads, restored period buildings, and modern facilities to enjoy in the bedroom. Great beds, and a great breakfast in the complex restaurant. This facility is unique! I would definitely stay there again. Uber connections are great too, outbound and inbound. Few local folks know about the complex, and it’s adjacent to Fort Conde.

I really, really enjoyed my stay at the inn.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good, well worth the additional three dollars.

Cons:

The Inn was far greater than my exceptions. Everything was excellent. Very friendly staff.

Pros:

It is a short walk from Amtrak. The room is clean and cozy and smells nice. It is also close to a few other attractions. A night stay gives you an option to have breakfast there for three dollars ( two eggs, choice of meat and drink) other choices available as well ( charged separately).

Pros:

I try to stay here whenever I’m in Mobile. I love the quaintness of the property—that it is historic and nicely restored. I love that there is free parking, free breakfast and no resort fee. (There aren’t any amenities but many hotels don’t have amenities and still charge a property fee. This one doesn’t.)

Pros:

Be aware that this inn consists of several smallish buildings. My building had no ice machine, so a bit of a hike if i wanted a cool drink. Nice vintage style room. Tucked away in downtown waterfront area. Felt very safe. Unique property. I definitely plan to stay here again and sample some different room types.

Great Inn.
Pros:

Great place to stay. Loved the Inn and the surrounding area. Loved the staff. Somebody forgot to tell us they had an elevator in the back of the Inn. We had to carry our luggage up a lot of stairs. But besides that, it was great! We will be going back

It was not just a nightly stay but rather it was a historical experience!
Pros:

My wife and I decided on something different than the run of the mill commercial hotels as we were in Mobile for a couple of nights. We we're pleasantly surprised of what we unknowingly booked. Coming onto the property at night and seeing the gas street lights, the brick streets and sidewalks was like we were stepping back into the1800's. Check in was smooth and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!
