Nira Alpina - Member of Design Hotels

Great hotel located right next to the ski lifts. It is one of the very few true ski in ski out properties in the area. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes from St Moritz, which makes it a much better value compared to the overpriced options in town.

There is a beginner slope right next to the hotel, which is perfect if you are just starting to ski. The wider ski area is better suited to intermediate skiers, with mostly red runs. That said, this hotel is also fantastic for non skiers, with incredible views, easy access to winter hikes, and beautiful walks straight from the doorstep.

The hotel has two restaurants. Prices are on the higher side, as expected in Switzerland, but the quality of food is excellent. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations throughout our stay.

Overall, I would definitely choose this hotel again over staying in St Moritz. You get unbeatable views, direct access to skiing and outdoor activities, and a much more relaxed and authentic alpine experience.

ausserordentlich freundlich Bedienung und super Ambiente. Das Personal verwöhnt mit Hingabe und Freude die Gäste. Die Direktorin versprüht eine positive Einstellung und ist für die Gäste da. War ein super Aufenthalt.

Had drinks and dinner at their rooftop bar. Sabrina who is the head bar mistress took care of us like royalty and concocted the most amazing alcoholic potions. A killer (Sabrina’s) signature Popocorn sour (perfectly balanced and exquisite) and a maker’s mark whiskey sour (might have even beat mine, to say!) Followed by some delicious buttered chicken and calf’s Tatar with truffle…killer! I can only recommend and do let Sabrina know what you are in the mood for and she will oblige. Total gem 😎

The hotel has the friendliness of a boutique hotel and has a wonderful feel to it. The layout, rooms, decoration, food availabilities were all top notch, just one of these rare hotels that you want to come back to as it feels a bit like home.
We ate well in the 2 restaurants and the breakfast - with a view - was a highlight.
We love our skiing and not only could we walk the 10 meters up to the Gondola, but we had a real happy ski on uncrowded runs (on both sides) at a very low price, thanks to the hotel arrangement.
Just to add that the area, Silvaplana, Engadine is a rare place of beauty in both winter and summer.
I consider that we were fortunate to find this hotel, highly recommend it and we hope to be back at sometime.

I traveled with my son far 7 nights to St Moritz , Our stay at the Nira Alpina was flawless, the food , service , comfort of the rooms , beautiful Spa every attention to detail surprised us. One of the great advantages of this hotel is that you ski in & out to Corvatsch mountain . If the guests would like to enjoy the night life in ST Moritz I recommend coming with a car or renting one because although there is free bus service in front of the hotel to ST Moritz the service stops at 6 pm.

Hotellet er gennemført flot m, værelser, restaurant, bar og spa er flot
Men service oplevelsen stikker i alle retninger.
Direktøren er god til st komme rundt og snakke
Bartenderne er langsomme, de ser travle ud, men det er svært at få lov til at bestille, og det tager ofte 10-15 min før din drink kommer (der var samlet 4 gæster i baren)
Receptionisterne er søde, men 2/4 var uvidende.
Morgenmads buffeten var lækker.
Men igen var betjeningen langsom og mangelfuld
Så alt i alt et dejligt sted, men hav god tålmodighed.

We stayed at Nira Alpina for one night on a road trip (we have stayed here before for a few nights on a previous road trip). The hotel itself is very modern and clean. Our room, the Corvatsch, had spectacular views of the mountains. The room also has a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, TV, and fridge.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, providing a lot of information related to our stay and nearby activities. There was a discount provided for their spa, along with discount cards for some of the activities around the area.

The restaurant is great, with a mixture of local, regional and international, with some focus on Asian dishes. There is a great little bakery located within the hotel which is very handy for snacks and drinks for the room.

The parking is great, which is located under the hotel. All in all this is a great hotel, we will definitely stay for a third time if we’re in the area.

Sehr schöne Aussicht, sehr gutes Essen, perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Unser Aufenthalt im Nira Alpina war wunderbar: Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne und saubere Zimmer, Restaurant mit feinem Essen, toller Ausblick vom Restaurant und dem Zimmer. Wir haben beim Einchecken erfreulicherweise ein Upgrade erhalten. Die Lage gleich bei der Seilbahn Corvatsch war sehr praktisch. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Beim Auschecken wurden 18.-/Tag für die Garage berechnet. Dies wurde bei Ankunft und auf Hotels.com nicht erwähnt.

Loved everything!

Getrampel (Skigäste; Kinder im Restaurant ) morgens und am nachmittags sehr gut hör- (Lärm) und spürbar (Vibrationen). Suchst du Ruhe, dann geh woanders hin. Wie halt überall. Trotzdem - für fast 1000.- pro Nacht darf man mehr erwarten.
Ansonsten Lage, Ausstattung und Essen einwandfrei.
