Pros:

The hotel and especially the decor is beautiful.

Cons:

The matress was hard and the aircon unit noisy, which combined, made for a restless night. There were no facecloths, slippers, shower cap or body lotion in the Superior King room - making me wonder why I paid more for it?

Pros:

Pond with turtles was wonderful

Cons:

It was NOT sound proof as advertised, and that was the very reason I selected the hotel over new year's Eve. Very disappointing.

Pros:

The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet.

Cons:

There seems to be a staff and service issue, with staff missing from the breakfast service and no reception when I had to check out. It was pouring down with rain and there was no-one around to help me with my bags.

Note that there is no lift to the 2nd floor and the tv channels are very basic, with mostly SABC.

The gym needs some TLC with dusty mats, broken aircon and a wierd tasting water machine.

Pros:

We verbleven niet in Falstaff, dat werd verbouwd. We zijn omgeboekt naar een ander premier hotel in de buurt. Dat was prima.

Cons:

Ik werd pas omgeboekt nadat de deadline verstreken was om te annuleren. Had op zich de keuze gewaardeerd om zelf een ander hotel te vinden.

My stay was excellent
