Lack of cleanliness and comfort. For a hotel that is walking distance to the haram and clock tower, it should be a true 5 star inside and out. However it almost feels like a motel or a 3 star. The rooms need major renovations for the price per night.

Not a five star. Horrible service. Our room smelled very bad and they would give you the run around. The water shut off everyday. Horrible experience when the water is gone and you are in the washroom.......wudhu. They offered to send up water bottles that never came. Elevator had problems a few times where they were down to less than half working. 1 Elevator was down the whole time. Bell hops not reliable. When our driver came for the airport they were no where to be found. Remember this is a so called 5 star hotel with 5 star pricing.

Umrah visit
Pros:

The hotel location was very good, haram 5-8 minute walk. The housekeeping staff was very good. Cleaned our room every day, gave us fresh towels as well as water.
Bellboys were good. When we called them to take up/down luggage, came straight away.
We did not use other services such as breakfast, laundry so can't comment.
A laungry shop was 2 minutes away as well as money exchange.
