Dated, not in a vintage charming way. Like a 70
Pros:

We thought it was going to be lovely, but the room was so dated, the bathroom, bedding, room was not great. We were dissapointed.

Cons:

If there were better rooms, we should have been upgraded. It was just too dated to be able to call it a great place to stay.

Pros:

The location! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shops. Big room. The best staff! Friendly, helpful, professional.

Cons:

Parking. On a weekend it was very competitive. The lock to the sliding door is weak. Wouldn’t take much to open it. Our bed was a bit too firm for us.

Lesser things but noticed:
Decor in our room was worn, needs some love …….. a power point on the floor at the back of the bed, which was needed (had to move the bed to use the plug) ….. a very high, solid bed side unit, no drawers or cupboard to put things in, just a wood unit with a big fixed lamp. Looks nice but not practical.

Comfortable and convenient with considerate staff.
Pros:

The was who was on the desk on the night we checked in was helpful and considerate. When I hadn’t contacted the motel, she tried to call me. She also switched us from an upstairs to a ground floor room to make it easier for us to access the room. Very good location to walk into town to go out for dinner and drinks. Also close to Back Beach and scenic walks. The shower was good.

Cons:

The toilet seat lif in Room 233 does not stay up but it’s no biggie!

Due to the incoming lighting it made sleep difficult and hence we found it not very relaxing.
Pros:

Room Size, bed was comfortable

Cons:

The outside lighting. The balcony lights did turn off around 10pm but the entrance lights stayed on all night. The window above the door needs to be blacked out. To much light comes in and makes sleep difficult.
