Pros:

Super location and most attentive and helpful staff in all areas

Cons:

Bedroom was not heated when we arrived.
We have an EV and was intending to charge to pursue the next leg of our trip, however there were only 2 charging pints, one i’m from I don’t even recognise providing charge, and the other was occupied by a non EV car displaying a disabled badge the whole 2 days we were there. This in spite of several disabled spaces being available.
This needs better oversight by the hotel. I had to get up at 4am to move my car into the freed charger.

Well worth a visit.
Pros:

Great stay view from the room is fantastic and lovely to hear the sea crashing against the shore from my window. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of space in communal areas.

In general we were very pleased with our stay
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, room good.

Cons:

The tv aerial connection was poor, the safe was inoperable, and the shower heat was not adjustable for comfort and was too hot.
We had some difficulty in reserving tables for our evening meal in the restaurant although we observed there were a number of tables not usable for dinner because they were laid for breakfast

Pros:

The positive attitude of the manager. We had our dog with us who was very hot in our allocated room. The manager transferred us to a cooler, better ventilated room which made our stay very comfortable. All staff were helpful and had a pleasant demeanour.
The meal area rooms were spacious, airy and had a good view over the hotel gardens.
The rooms at the front of the hotel had a beautiful seas view. The very well kept gardens provided the same view out over the English channel.

Cons:

The hotel could benefit from air conditioning, and the manager did tell us this was planned for next year. It is a Victorian building with attractive architectural features but in the hotter weather aircon would be a great improvement.t

super,great staff most obliging.
Pros:

The service for breakfast was super ,very quick and quite nice to eat.

Cons:

the chairs in my room were very uncomfortable to sit on ,one needs reupholster as the stuffing has sagged,but the room its self was super.

Erholung in einem "seelisch nährenden" Hotel mit Aussicht aufs Meer und einer "exceptional crew"
Pros:

Hochprofessionell geführt, freundlicher Staff, durchgehend, ruhige Atmosphäre, toll gelegen. Man geht mit einem erholten Gefühl wieder Heim!

A lovely stay with the most stunning view of the sea and beachy head in the distance
Pros:

l used to work here back in the early 80,s as a chambermaid it was spotless then and remains exactly the same , the staff were all lovely , very helpful and welcoming .

Cons:

my radiator wasn’t working while there but staff very quickly brought me a plug in heater which was fine
