Moins enthousiaste que lors de mon dernier séjour il y a 6 ans
Pros:

La situation, un peu à l'écart du centre, avec une superbe vue. Le style vieux chic anglais du hall et des lounges. La réceptionniste était accueillante et efficace, le petit déjeuner était bien mais pas aussi exceptionnel que dans mes souvenirs d'il y a 6 ans.

Cons:

Il est important pour moi d'avoir un Wifi qui fonctionne... ce qui n'était pas du tout le cas, malgré une indication d'un signal correct (PS, pas la peine de répondre que je n'y connais rien, je voyage beaucoup et je suis habituée). Le parking "accessible" est petit et toujours plein; j'ai dû laisser ma voiture à la rue. Le "Conservatory" style terrasse couverte manque de chaleur, ça ne va pas du tout avec le style du très beau hall d'entrée. Le repas était beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité; très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Pour le diner mais de façon générale. Les prix ont flambé et la qualité a diminué.

My must go to hotel in Eastbourne
Pros:

Location is fabulous, staff very friendly and old school style opulent interior. Breakfast lovely. Very quiet area at night.
I always stay here when in Eastbourne.

Fantastic
Pros:

Very traditional hotel with superb level of service. Rooms very well presented and spotless,
Excellent breakfast with a mixture of buffet and served dishes. Similar standards in both restaurants.
Great place to stay

Cons:

The only criticism would be bathroom needs a large shower instead of a shower over the bath especially as this is a hotel favoured by older guests

Lovely hotel, great location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Wonderful location, nice room, friendly staff, good common areas

Cons:

The receptionist said my room number out loud. For a woman travelling alone, this was wrong. She should have written it down and pointed to it.
One of the lifts was out of order and the usable lift was very small.

Relaxing four days in an historic old school hotel with friendly service in a stunning location
Pros:

Particularly liked the hot breakfast selection. Smoked haddock and poached egg was delicious. The setting of hotel and gardens - stunning views of sea and downs and easy access to both as well as to cultural attractions near by and town centre.

Cons:

Coffee at breakfast, while being silver service, didn’t match the taste of what was on offer in the bistro.
