The room price was a bit steep then I found we had to pay £18 a night for parking. We went to go for a swim and there was a £10 charge per person - No Thanks! I can't ever remember being charged separately for using the pool.
Cold breakfast was OK especially pastries but hot breakfast was tepid and the sausages were poor quality. Only one coffee machine with long queues at times.
Room was bog standard, nothing special.
Lovely hotel, good location, great staff, food quality very good and generous 😁. Lovely refurbished rooms. Spa is wonderful and a relaxing environment 👌😴
Nice location in Guildford centre, modern hotel with good facilities, nice bar area.
easy access to guildford
single beds were to high. no disabled twin room therefore shower was too small.
Excellent service - special mention to extraordinary care of Dayo at reception who was incredibly hospitable and professional.
Very prime location. Nice rooms, very friendly staff. Always pleasure to be welcomed by Dayo and Imaan.
We were over in Guildford from Ireland and were looking for a place to stay. We decided to stay the night in the Harbour Hotel. The first person we met was Genny in reception. She was vey pleasant and welcoming and helpful in us making our booking. She also gave us information concerning the places to see in Guildford and general information. She comes across as being caring and considerate and very professional. We ultimately decided to extend our stay and she again was most helpful. She set the tone for a most enjoyable and relaxing stay.
The hotel and facilities are very good and our bedroom was very comfortable.
Because of the welcome, care and facilities we would definitely stay in the Harbour Hotel again.
Mary and David
Recently hosted an annual end of year awards event at the Harbour Hotel, I’d personally like to thank Sophie for all of her support throughout the preparation process and organisation leading up to the event, a true life saver! The event space was beautiful and well organised, thank you to Leah and others as well throughout the evening for making sure everything ran smoothly! We hope to return soon!
Location
Showers way too small.
Beautiful hotel and fantastic staff.
A little on the expensive side, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for, staff from reception to breakfast, all super friendly and helpful
The location and cleanliness
The room was very stuffy and no windows to open. We used the air conditioning but it was still very stuffy.
Staff were great. Bed was so comfy. Rooms were clean. Spa was lovely. Food was INCREDIBLE!

All of the staff that we had contact with were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Got a room upgrade too.
Breakfast was not included and quite expensive.
This is our third visit to the Harbour hotel for business use. (twice in the last 6 months) We did not stay in the rooms but used the conference facilities for groups of 20 delegates. The communication and organisation prior to attending with the events organiser Sophie was exceptional and was able to take all our little requests into consideration. checking how we wanted the room set up and signage etc. Food was provided both times and the team much prefer the buffet in the main hotel area. Tea, coffee and water is readily available and when we had a couple of technical glitches (user error not hotel error!) the hotel team was straight on it to help! Conference rooms are not subjected to outside noise or interruptions. This "offsite" meeting is likely to become a very staple part of our business calendar at the Harbour hotel
