The hotel was located within short walking distance from the yacht club with its pool area and bars the hotel was very good price and a reasonable breakfast the taxi driver at hotel very friendly and also the waiting staff I would stay there again. Only downside is you can’t pay by credit cards
Based on its great prices and it's services and he comfort of it's room , I have found it one of the best hotels which I stayed in lebanon.
I really felt like home..
I do recommend it for business man and families
Não aceitaram pagamento com cartão. Tive que pagar cash.
This is my second stay, I like the hotel, very quit and comfortable. Friendly staff, big thanks for yussif FO for his great welcome, for sure my next visit to Beirut I will stay in this hotel and I highly recommend it.
I like the Hotel, nice and clean room, good breakfast, staff very friendly, big thanks for All the team don’t remember their names, special thanks to Yousef FO for this full support to me from my arrival till I left the hotel, I will back to the hotel in my next visit to Beirut.
They enter my room without my permission while i am inside, they want to show the room to another customer..
the pathroom is very bad and there is a water leak
the balcony is kind of partitioned with almost no privacy
I dont think that I will ever go there again
I had a horrible experience during my recent stay here.. Getting to the hotel itself is so difficult due to the narrow access. The reception and service staff are ok.. Not welcoming but not rude either. The breakfast is ok. The biggest let down is the poor quality of rooms. They are old and stink. The hotel was booked as part of a 3 star range of hotels. The wifi is no pathetic. What a waste
My wife and I needed a hotel stay for one night. I was looking for a sea view hotel that can take us in immediately! I called the hotel and told them about hotels.com and they agreed! But the rrcepcuonist wasn't familiar with the process! So when I arrived he said that he needs to wait for the fax from hotels.com before he can check me in "although I would need to pay cash anyway" after some negotiation, he was convinced that since in paying cash anyway, he doesn't really need the fax on the spot! That incident and the fact that the hotel HAD sea view months ago before another hotel build a tower that blocked that view. These are the two things that I would mention.
Other than that service was good, the place was ok for what you pay, and they have a rich breakfast! So all in all, it wasn't a bad stay at all..
The hotel and rooms are clean and well maintained from the inside. It is at a walking distance from Beirut downtown and the sea area at Ain Mreisseh. The staff is not friendly and barely knows English. I asked them to order a cab for me, they sent me someone they knew, not from a company or agency, the man charged me 4 times more than the actual price. The breakfast is so limited. The rooms are small and the heater was not on in February when the temperature was still low. I do not recommend this hotel unless you have no other options.
The badest room i ever rent with high price 88$ per night, the bathroom was terrabil and the smill in the room is discusting, the room not clean well.
The other hotel around it more cheaper with more clean and nice rooms.
also the recieption is not so kind.
I stayed with my group in this hotel for four days and it was really good experience , I didn't have any complain from
My group about the hotel .
1st of all , the hotel's location is very central and easy to reach anywhere .
The welcoming was very good and the group check-in was done in a very short time due to the professional staff .
The rooms are big enough and it's provided with almost everything you might need on your travel.
During our accommodation the staff was very helpful and welcoming especially Mrs.Zahra by the front desk she was so helpful .
It will be absolutely my destination On my next trip to Beirut
I LIKE THE STAY IN Charles
Good welcome
Fast services
Clean rooms
Various breakfast
Nice location
Good rate

The location of the hotel is nice . room's are clean and ok. Breakfast is not bad.if you want hotel only to sleep its good choice for this price and stuffs are very helpful especially Baha was very nice.
The location is highly good, but the staff at the reception is awful, we requested that they book at the Music Hall, but they insisted that we go to the music hall they offered and; when we did not accept, their attitude was so bad. We got shocked!
Great location, nearby the shopping mall, hamra street, the corniche, place d'etoile, etc....
Clean hotel, nice rooms with enough place.
Had some good nights of sleep.
Helpful staff! If I go back to Beirouth I will choose this place again.
I'll stay in this hotel again, you feel comfortable, great location 3 min drive to Solidere Beirut Souks. Breakfast is 5 stars service is excellent. The price is fair. The room and bathroom are clean but bathroom is not new
Hotel Charles is a basic three star hotel in Rustom Bacha Street Beirut. The hotel reception was pleasant and helpful at all times which is always helpful in a foreign country.
The hotel rooms are clean and tidy with views towards the Mediterranean and the Corniche which is two streets away.
The American University Lebanon is in walking distance as is the rebuilt central city and many cheerful restaurants which is a big plus for the location of the hotel.
The breakfast was basic middle eastern - boiled eggs, cheese, vegetables, breads and coffee - which kept us going for much of the day!!!
We enjoyed the stay here...
We stayed in Charles hotel for three nights. The room, especially the bathroom is very dirty. There were many insects on the wall and in the bath tub. My daughter, 11 y/o, used my t-shirt to cover her pilow. The bed smelled terrible. Sleeping in my bed was not very different from sleeping on a yacht boat since every spring of the bed was moving in different dimentions. I strogly advice you to review your stay in this hotel.
The only good thing about the hotel was the lady at the front office. She was very helpful.
This is a low-priced hotel in Beirut, and the city can be very expensive. The hotel is tired to say the least, with peeling wallpaper, worn carpets, and mould in the bathrooms. It's like stepping back in time to the 1970s.
But the location is not bad, and a reasonable attempt is made to keep the hotel clean. But leaving plates with half-eaten food in the hallways for 24 hours or more does not help. The staff try to be helpful, but they are not really up to it.
Very annoyingly, if you ask them to get you a cab, you get an old-banger with a bloke with no teeth who can't speak English or read a map. And there are no safety belts in the back - essential for the Beirut streets! And then you get charged double the normal rate.
I think if you look hard, you will find much better hotels for the same price. There are now a few low-budget designer hotels open in Beirut.
I liked charles hotel i stayed for 5 days with my husband and my 2 little children the room is clean ,bathroom also
there is a spacious balcony full of plants and flowers
the breakfast was average boiled eggs, crouissant, bread, cornflakes, fruit, cake ,and bevrages.
I liked my stay very much and i remember the room cost $75 .If you want a cheap and clean place, choose this hotel
