Pros:

The pool and hot tub are meticulously maintained and beautiful.
The electricity went out a few times at night due to thunderstorms, but the WiFi router was reinstated either by the time we woke up or was done within a few minutes of making a call to the front desk.
The staff is lovely and courteous and some of them spoke good English, so no worries with communication at Hotel Rio 1300.
I liked it so much, I am going back to stay in the same hotel in 3 months.
