Charming stay with friendly staff
Pros:

Loved the friendly staff and the room with bath which we got upgraded to by the manager. Very clean

Cons:

Doorway to the bathroom was very low resulting in several bumps to the head during the first day. The price for the accommodations was fairly high to not include breakfast. Found better deals at other stops in our trip that provided more value.

Idéalement situé pour visiter les Cotswolds, cet hôtel a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Délicieux restaurant à l'hôtel, très bon petit déjeuner, personnel aimable. A noter que nous avions réservé la chambre avec baignoire et douche qui est comme une petite suite. Et elle a l'avantage de ne pas être trop chaude en cas de forte chaleur. Très bon choix!

Comfortable bed, good food and ideal stop over in the Cotswolds.
Pros:

It was so lovely to find staff, engaging and genuinely welcoming here. The room was clean and bed comfortable. They have a competent chef here who produced perfectly cooked lamb rump followed by a delicious raspberry soufflé. The waiter, who I didn’t catch his name, was excellent too, knew the dishes and recommended a perfect sweet wine for the dessert. Good selection for breakfast with table service much better than a buffet!

Cons:

For a place in a small village the road was surprisingly busy so if you are not used to traffic noise ask for a room at the back. There was an unpleasant odour in the shower room on arrival which needed attention.
