Surkea kokemus ja pilasi sen osan lomastamme, mutta Sri Lanka ja muut hotellit oli hyvä.
Pros:

Yhtäältä sijainti oli hyvä, koska hotelli oli rannalla, juna-asema ja bussipysäkki sekä pieni kauppa hyvin lähellä, mutta toisaalta rautatie ja maantie aiheuttivat merkittävää meluhaittaa liikenteen melun kantautuessa huoneeseen yöaikaan. Aamiainen oli yksinkertainen: paahtoleipää, kananmunia ja teetä/kahvia joka aamu ja paahtoleivät sekä kananmunat saapuivat usein kylminä tehden yksinkertaisesta aamiaisesta vielä yksinkertaisemman. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä niin kuin sri lankalaiset ihmiset kaikkialla olivat. Hotellin ranta oli liian matala uimiseen, vasemmalla puolella on kiviä ja uima-allasta huollettiin päiväaikaan, jolloin sen olisi pitänyt olla asukkaiden käytössä?

Cons:

Hotelli oli kulunut ja kaipaisi välitöntä remonttia etenkin huoneiden osalta. Sängyssä oli luteita tai vastaavia eliöitä, joista huomautimme, mutta hotelli ei tehnyt mitään asialle, lähinnä kiisti asian, eikä siivonnut sänkyä ja vaihtanut patjaa useista pyynnöistämme huolimatta. Jouduimme käymään lääkärissä ja lääkäri vahvisti asian todenperäisyyden, saimme reseptilääkkeet apteekkiin. Lisäksi kylpyhuone löyhkäsi ja sitä oli epämiellyttävää käyttää koko loman ajan. Lämmintä vettä ei tullut suihkusta, eikä sitäkään asiaa hotelli halunnut tai kyennyt korjaamaan. Olimme kolmessa muussa hotellissa Sri Lankassa lomamme aikana, jotka olivat hyviä ja kaikki toimi. Tämä hotelli muodosti siis poikkeuksen ja vältämme kyseistä hotellia jatkossa.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay
Pros:

Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice balcony looking onto the beach. Dinner was great, super barbecued fish. Tasty and filling breakfast. Proprietor came round and chatted with everyone in the evening making all feel very welcome.

Cons:

On arrival after we had registered we were asked to sit down and wait for a welcome drink which could have been given as soon as we arrived. We skipped it and went to the room.
We couldn't use the pool as it was being cleaned but enjoyed a swim in the sea instead.

Pros:

On the beach, great sunset. A lot of beach bars down the coast that is walking distance. Some great places to eat down the beach.

Cons:

Needs maintenance, bathroom was moldy. Not a lot of drink options. Staff was sometime just sitting around under the stairs not professional at all. Swimming pool was not cleaned properly. Breakfast was not great. Staff were playing games inside the guest lounge. Beer bottles standing outside on the stair case. Not charging plugs or ports for our phones. WiFi was very bad.

Pros:

The hotel is in a lovely part of beruwala.the pool was lovely and refreshing and it overlooks a beautiful beach.breafast and dinner were excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.the whole hotel had a calm feel about it.the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the entire property is well and very pleasant.
Your hospitality is truly appreciated.

Tout c est simple c est sale vetuste l eau du robinet coule jaune tout est croulant la fenêtre pour acceder a notre terrasse balcon cassee avec des Moreau de vertes prêt a nous blesser .. personnel inexistant .. nous sommes reste une heure !!!! Impossible d envisager de dormir avec un enfant dans de tel condition !!! Surtout en payant ce prix !!! Bref je ne recommandé absolument pas a fuir !!!! Personne ne m a aidé a porter mes valises quand j ai décidé de quitter les lieux ! Bref j ai payé une nuit pour rester 1h et repartir avec 2 bouteilles d eau !!! Ça fait cher la bouteille d eau !!!!

This is a fabulous hotel
Pros:

This is a fabulous hotel. Our room was huge, with a fantastic sea view and very comfortable bed. Good location with views a cross the Indian Ocean. Sunset pretty awesome. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, a nice buffet of incredible food. And we also had dinner in the restaurant and we ordered some lovely seafood. That was amazing.Without doubt the best pool. Wi-Fi quality was super in the room as well as in the lobby area too. What were most appealing was the hospitality and staff-absolute A Class. I would definitely recommend! Thinking of booking this hotel, don't hesitate-just do it!
