Beautiful building in great location, bar and meals superb.
Nothing to complain about, maybe the room being very modern wasn’t as luxurious as the rest of the building but that’s just a matter of taste and style.
Location was ideal. Room was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches.
Breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and exactly as requested. We also had dinner in the pub area which was also excellent.
The staff were so helpful from the receptionist to the waiting staff - excellent service.

Very spacious and well appointed bedrooms. We had a lovely big room for our family gathering dinner. Great location.

Lovely sized room, great bathroom with wonderfully powerful shower. Good selection of drinks and biscuits on hospitality tray.
Food was excellent, both breakfasts and an evening meal on our first night which was exceptionally good. The Bear is in the heart of the village which was so convenient. Our room, 23, was along an outside corridor with its own door which we really liked.
Loads of steps everywhere, it’s not a complaint, it’s a very old lovely building but probably not for those who have mobility issues.
Terrific location for hiking in the Brecon national park. Outstanding restaurant. Cheerful staff.
