Fabulous place to stay, highly recommend.
Pros:

Beautiful building in great location, bar and meals superb.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about, maybe the room being very modern wasn’t as luxurious as the rest of the building but that’s just a matter of taste and style.

Well worth a visit, we will be returning. Crickhowell is beautiful, so picturesque
Pros:

Lovely sized room, great bathroom with wonderfully powerful shower. Good selection of drinks and biscuits on hospitality tray.
Food was excellent, both breakfasts and an evening meal on our first night which was exceptionally good. The Bear is in the heart of the village which was so convenient. Our room, 23, was along an outside corridor with its own door which we really liked.

Cons:

Loads of steps everywhere, it’s not a complaint, it’s a very old lovely building but probably not for those who have mobility issues.
