Convenient meets comfort.
Pros:

This is my 3rd stay with Aspera. It feels like home to me. The room is cosy and clean. The water pressure is fantastic. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. There is always enough mineral water in the room to keep me hydrated daily. The small fridge is adequate to put my snacks and drinks. The Turkish breakfast is delicious and complete. This time round they added soup which is for me the highlight of the breakfast. Comforting during cold mornings. You should try their lunch set, affordable and sumptuous. The Altunizade metro station and metrobus is just literally next to the hotel. Altunizade metro station is 2 stations away to Uskudar where you can either take the marmaray or ferry to Europe side. Right outside the hotel, there is a bus stop that can bring you around Asian side easily. Metrobus can bring you anywhere and everywhere too. Just use google. If you walked further down from the hotel, there is Capitol Mall. Grocery, food and shopping easy peasy. Furtherdown after the mall, there is a beautiful mosque. You will be greeted with the azan from the mosque 5 times daily, dont worry it is not too loud until it will disturb your sleep. Furtherdown after the mosque, there are plenty of places to eat. Aspera is a perfect place to stay if you are on the Asian side.

Cons:

There are not enough hangers in the cabinet. There are no hooks to hang clothes or winter jacket. Bring umbrella because there arent shelter.

Ich war für das Derby Spiel in İstanbul und war zwei Nächte in aspera und war generell sehr zufriedenmit allem.
