Cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for.
Pros:

We have stayed in South Kuta many times and this time we choose to stay at Sun Island. We won’t return.
Sun Island Kuta is not four star. A three is actually generous, but only because our room is acceptable and kept clean. Bedding is good but plumbing is questionable. Nothing flash here.
Internet access is variable, there are large groups of people on conferences, and it is close to the road and noisy.
It is a basic hotel with basic amenities and it would suit people on a fairly tight budget who don’t expect a wide range of breakfast dishes and a bar that operates throughout the day.

Good location with average services
Pros:

Rooms are decent however need more attention from the housekeeping regards to cleanliness. Breakfast variety is very limited and packed breakfast was also offered with only 1 option. Location wise it's good.

Friendly staff, 24 hr security.
Spacious rooms with ensuite, A/C, tea coffee facilities.

Cons:

Stayed in the hotel in 2014, which was a wonderful experience.
How ever the hotel is showing showing it's age and would benefit from from TLC

As soon as we arrived they were very accommodating and welcoming.
Pros:

Very well priced, so lovely and clean, staff were wonderful, beds were so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Le bruit, l'accueil désagréable des hôtesse, le bruit, la musique forte au restaurant.
L horaire check in non modifiable même malade. J'ai dû attendre très.malade m'a chambre dans un hall alors que d autre était disponible . J'ai su moi même demander à plusieurs reprise si c'était prêt. Aucune bienveillance malgré.mes symptômes très désagréable.
Je ne recommande.pas cet endroit bruyant
