Pros:
Excellent location (near Shinjuku, transport, 7-Eleven)
Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff (24h reception noted)
Good value for money / very affordable
Clean and spacious rooms reported by many
Convenient neighborhood for sightseeing
Cons:
Some cleanliness issues (insect in cup, occasional odors, could be cleaner)

Thin walls / noise and occasional drunk people nearby at night
Limited on-site amenities and awkward taxi access in narrow alley

Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Mixed signals: many guests called rooms clean, but several mentioned cleanliness issues (could be cleaner, insect in cup, unpleasant building smell). Score lowered slightly to reflect these recurring negatives.
Service
9.8
Consistently praised: hosts and staff described as kind, welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive (24h reception mentioned). Strong positive sentiment warrants a high score.
Location
9.7
Very strong positive consensus: repeatedly noted as excellent/brilliant, near center, walkable to Shinjuku and close to transport and convenience stores; a few mentions of noisy/drunk people at night or narrow taxi access, but location overall is a major strength.
Room Quality
7.6
Mixed: several guests praised spacious rooms, but others mentioned old rooms needing renovation, small toilets/separate shower, hard beds and minimal furnishings; overall quality is average-to-slightly-below.
Amenities
7.9
Limited amenities reported (basic vending machine, nearby 7‑Eleven). Lack of in-room extras and minimal furnishings were noted; not strongly negative but clearly limited.
Value for Money
9.5
Frequently highlighted as excellent value/cheap and good cost-performance; many guests explicitly praised value-for-money, so this scores very high.
Food and Beverage
7.4
Few mentions beyond vending machine and nearby convenience store; there are negative notes about food odors entering rooms and no strong F&B offering, so score is modestly below target.
Overall Experience
9.1
Generally very positive overall: many repeat guests and strong recommendations due to location, staff and value, despite some room/comfort drawbacks.

Good value and location with adequate rooms for the price
Pros:

Helpful staff, late check-in. Rooms clean and toiletries provided. Close to the station but off the main street far enough so foot traffic and noise was not an issue.

Cons:

The doorways are very short which can be troublesome for taller people but it was not a big deal.

Buena relación calidad-precio
Pros:

Piccolissima gemma a Shinjuku
Pros:

Pros:

Cons:

Pros:

Cons:
