We were extremely disappointed upon arrival. The room was large enough for a family which was what we needed. However it was very old fashioned and dirty. Furniture broken and everything had seen better days. The reception is just a cleaning room and is t open after 6pm. We had ants everywhere creepy crawlers on my bed. Cockroaches every morning. The staff were told about my bed. They just took my quilt shook it outside and put it back on my bed. Housekeeping are lazy and in prepared. We didn’t have any clean towels for three days and they only started cleaning because I complained. My mums bedding wasn’t changed at all in our 2 week stay. There isn’t any clean or fit for purpose sunloungers and there isn’t a pool. Yes you have the beach but there is dog poo sand crabs and rubbish which let’s face it do you want to lie in that. The manager Luke only ever spoke to you for money and was quite firm with my 71 year old mum. Demanding payment now even though she said she would get it first thing in the morning. He would only take cash. The next time he spoke to us was to sell the boat journey for full moon. Disgusting. The staff speak very broken English and just seem so dis interested in you. See pictures below. They speak volumes. I took the picture that they show on the website and then you will see reality. I can’t stress enough unless you want just somewhere to sleep do not go to this hotel.
The Owner/Manager Luc moved mountains to get my lost luggage delivered finally at 12.30 am and even went to the Airport to collect it himself. Some of the rooms are undergoing renovation but in mine the AC was good, the TV was good with plenty of channels and the breakfast was fine. The WiFi was excellent and the view from the beach is great and I will certainly stay there again, particularly when using the SeaTran Ferry.
I am so sorry to have to write this. Initially I thought our room was not bad - a quick glance around after arriving late and the taxi driver not being able to find the place (do not confuse with a nearby samui pier resort). We put our bags in our room and exhaustedly went to have breakfast in the seaside restaurant. The owners are very nice so we were pretty shocked as to why the older rooms were in such disrepair. There are old rooms and newer added rooms in this series of about 10-12 rooms total.
As you can see from the featured photo with the orange tropical wall, the "decor" included very large images of warriors on the wall right next to your bed!! Ours had something similar! What the heck?? The fabric headboard in our room was filthy, with some sort of white stains splashed on the fabric. The shower was moldy, exposed wires in the ceiling, wonky, OLD light fixtures... This was supposed to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime trip!!! Seriously, it would take just a few workmen, some paint, cleaning and basic handyman skills to make this an acceptable experience. Nothing in an island room has to be fancy, but it should be clean -- and not send you to sleep with nightmares of machete-wielding warriors. Could have been a nice place and experience....
Located halfway between Big Buddha and Fisherman's Village, this little hotel has around a dozen units, equipped with the basics and is overall good value for money. Literally a stone throw from the beach front, a restaurant serving mainly local dishes is within the property. A good deal for couples or solo travellers especially.
The good:
Air-conditioned comfortable room, with hot water.
Its clean and lovely.
Staff very nice, friendly and helpful!
They printed our boarding pass for us :)
The beach is very close but the waters in this beach are filthy I actually started itching from it, luckily they have an outside bath so you can wash yourself off ..
The bad:
The WiFi is really bad, I got a slight signal on my phone but on my computer..none whatsoever! It was a shame because I needed to get some work done...
The road is so busy and loud and you hear it quite loudly.
The beach bar right next door has concerts, and you hear it...
I needed to put earplugs to fall asleep- but once I did I had the best sleep I had in days!
stayed at bangrak samui beach resort meny times come and go when you like park a bike safely shops bars at the end of the drive way great beach boats to the next island next door location is great eating out then night life
Very friendly staff, ready to help on any issue. The rooms are clean. Every morning, make cleaning and change towels. Wi-Fi stable and is available throughout the hotel. Sea within walking distance, just five meters! A place for relaxation and comfort, where you are always welcome. I recommend!
Klasse Service, der sogar Gedanken lesen kann, für diesen unschlagbar günstigen Preis kann man einfach nicht mehr Luxus erwarten :)
We stayed here for 2 nights last month and we were fairly happy with the location for our short stay. Although I would suggest if you are staying longer to hire a moped to go into the neighboring fishing village as we got a taxi arranged by the hotel which was overpriced at 300 baht for a short 10min drive, so be aware.
The beach literally is a 30sec walk from the rooms and it is lovely, its not a very busy beach so we did feel like we got our own bit of paradise.
The location is okay, nothing special and there isn't an awful lot close by so that is why i would recommend getting your own transport to explore other towns but it is close to a restaurant and 7 elleven.
The room was adequate for our stay but it was very dated.
The one thing that did put us off was that the door into the room is a slidy patio one but it has no lock, it doesn't close fully and you always have to have it left unlocked.
There is a safe in the room for valuables but it wasn't very big and we didn't like not being able to secure the room if we went out for the day.
Lovely stay our fourth time we stayed here.staff very friendly and helpful.rooms basic clean linen an towels everyday.shower could b better but works.dining room lovely fantastic views got take photos every time im in there brkfast very good.staff really good at their jobs.only downside is we rented motorbike few days when we took back the hire firm said we crashed it was lies we didnt. We left bike 25mins then they came an said that so had to pay 25pound wont b caught again. Be very careful do not leave bike an take photos when u get it and after.
Its closeness to the sea makes the whole experience so much better. The rooms are ok but absolutely no extras. Like european youth hostel standard. Not so clean! Staff is friendly.
Even though the breakfast was very cheap, it left a lot to be desired.
The good:
- Location on the beach
- 3,5 meter from the villa-balcony to the water.
- Aircondition
- Warm and cold water
- Quiet area (you dont hear the mainroad at all)
- Manager is extremely nice.
- From the mainroad you can get a thai-taxi(not a real taxi) and drive everywhere on Samui for maximum 200 baht
- Lots of thai-restaurants in the area with meals from 30 baht (0,74 € )
- 500 meters from the pier which can take you to Koh Phangang.
- 1 km from the pier which can take you to Koh Tao and Koh Phangang.
- 7/11 - 100 meters from the hotel
- Only 1 salesman at the beach (who offered us drugs, which we kindly rejected)
- Safe location + 4-8 guardian dogs outside the area all the time. They dont harm any guests....but it was obviously that they would harm the ones with bad intentions. Every evening when we walked through the garden in the dark, they followed us to the door. In our opinion, it was the cuttest thing - but if you are afraid of dogs....maybe reconsider if you want to go to Thailand at all :)
The bad:
- Wifi works 50/50
- There is a lot of traffic on the mainroad, so when you are walking around, be aware!
- The doors cant close completely, but they are locked.
We would stay here anytime again and can highly recommend it.
A group of us stayed in these bungalows following our time in Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party. They are clean and basic beach bungalows - more than we expected and required.
The bungalows are right on the beach near the Big Buddha pier. The beach is empty most of the time so you basically have the whole beach to yourself.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Tony was especially helpful and helped us organise an excursion. The food in the restaurant was also very good.
The room rate was very reasonable. The rate included...
Wifi, fridge, complimentary water, AC, cable TV and a great beach location.
We will definitely return!
We had a very nice stay in this hôtel . Nice rooms, clean . We had a very good contact with the owner who did help us for any request we had . The breakfast va excellent . . Simple but good place to stay . This hotel is close to the very nice place called the fischerman village . on the nord of Koh Samui . only 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Chaweng beach. is is very quiet and away from the touristical places without to be too far . This is what we where looking for .Thanks very much to the complete crew who where all very kind with us.
Our stay here was great! The rooms were really clean, spacious and had air con. All the rooms have their own patio area outside as well with chairs and tables. We stepped out of our room and walked about 10 meters and we were on the beach. The beach is very nice. The hotel has sunbeds on the beach which you can use for free and there are computers with the internet for free. The best thing though about this hotel is Tony, the owner. He was so friendly, remembered our names and even sorted out our transport back to Bangkok and came in on his day off to give the tickets and change to us. If I go back to Koh Samui then I would definitely stay here again!
Man bekommt das was man bezahlt. Also darf für diesen Preis keinen Luxus erwarten.
