The best Hotel to stay at, incedible staff, breakfast, and close walk to Lipari town. Not to miss !
Pros:

A true 4 Star hotel and nothing disappointed. From the moment we checked in to our departure we had a memorable stay. Reception staff always with a smile, so too the hospitality in the breakfast dining room. We had to extend our stay one day due to rough weather and no ferries to Panarea - no problem and discounted rate !
The hotel prides itself in incredible breakfast buffet - endless selection and quality ingredients. No better way to start your stay on Lipari out on the terrace relaxing with the view.
We had a ocean view room with huge private balcony all amazing value and only 10 min walk to town. Most evenings we walked down to the local fishing port and enjoyed an aperitivo watching locals in the piazza. Kids laying soccer, fishermen looking after their boats and nets - plus local families out for a chat.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

The room was excellent. Spacious, clean, modern and fresh, with a lovely terrace with beautiful views. Great swimming pool. Location was perfect - a 5 minute walk from the ferry port and equally easy to get into the centre of town to access all the restaurants and shops etc.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with sorting out various arrangements

Cons:

The restaurant staff were not as welcoming as other hotels we have stayed in, possibly because the hotel was due to close for the season (?)

A beautiful hotel in paradise
Pros:

The hotel has a wonderful location, stunning views from the seaview rooms/ terraces, lovely communal areas and a beautiful pool. The staff were friendly, accommodating and informative. They helped us to organise a hire car and gave an overview of the island's main attractions. The restaurant offers superb food options for breakfast (complimentary) and lunch/dinner catering for different tastes. Would highly recommend it for a romantic holiday or families. We loved it.

Cons:

Owing to the time of year (final week of the season), some facilities and features were not available/ operational. This wasn't a major issue for us, but it wasn't really advertised in advance. Also, the terraces weren't fully private, so it was possible for adjacent guests to see into each other's areas.

Pros:

I got upgraded to a superior room due to low season and I got a sea view room with a huge balcony. The rooms are also quiet big and beautiful with comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
I just felt like in paradise.

Cons:

Wifi is from 1999 ;-)

An excellent hotel with a good pool and grounds in walking distance to the town and port.
Pros:

The Breakfast Location was on the terrace abutting and joining the Dining Room. Its glass doors are open when the weather permits and closed at others times. The staff were helpful and spoke good English for those who don’t have strong language skills. The taxi companies that work with the hotel are also very good.

Magnifique semaine à l'hôtel Mea !
Pros:

Hôtel magnifique, déco de très bon goût, très bien entretenu, extérieurs vastes, verdoyants et soignés. Vue mer, piscine et montagne depuis notre vaste terrasse à couper le souffle. Très bon dîner au restaurant où nous avons pu manger des pâtes aux oursins hors carte. Personnel en général souriant et à l'écoute, mention spéciale pour Katia la barmaid.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner un peu décevant. Nous aurions apprécié au moins un interlocuteur parlant français. Une ou deux personnes peu souriantes. La piscine était très fraiche, on aurait été au paradis si le jacuzzi avait pu être chauffé (sur réservation, par exemple)
