Having stayed at the Presidente 5 times before, its the first time we've stayed over christmas and the new year. What an absolutely amazing experience.
All the staff are to be congratulated, with a special thank you to Nelson on reception, who went above and beyond on christmas day for us. Dani and Antonio in the restaurant are brilliant.
The gala dinner and the whole day was amazing but new year's eve was exceptional. The food was out of this world with more choice than you could possibly eat. The entertainment in the Phillipines 10 was the icing on the cake, with a free bar all night.
Overall we love this hotel it has everything. Great staff, good food and very clean. We have already booked again for April and the new year. I cant praise it enough. Thank you to all involved in our 2 week stay. See you in April
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Hotel – Saved My Holiday!
After spending five days at Gold Arcos with no hot water, my holiday was quickly turning into a nightmare. Moving to Hotel Presidente was the best decision I could have made — they completely salvaged my trip.
I’ve stayed at the Presidente several times before and they never disappoint. The staff are absolutely amazing, the food is fantastic, and the hotel itself is top-class. From the moment I arrived, I felt looked after.
I stayed over New Year’s and everything was planned to perfection — I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Even when I returned to the hotel after midnight, security shook my hand and wished me a Happy New Year, which really summed up the warmth and care shown by everyone there.
Everything about this hotel is next level. Thank you to every single member of staff for turning what was a holiday from hell into a genuinely memorable experience. I’ve already booked to stay for a full week next New Year — that says it all!
After five daysof hell in Gold Arcos with no hot water, I moved to Hotel Presidente, the best decision I could have made. What an amazing hotel, incredible staff, and fantastic atmosphere.
The food is absolutely stunning, and the New Year’s Eve entertainment and gala were the best I’ve ever experienced. The hotel truly had everything on NYE, and it was planned with total precision.
Every single member of staff has been amazing, treating guests like royalty. They should all be extremely proud of how perfectly they delivered such a spectacular New Year’s Eve.
I have loved this hotel so much that I’ve already booked to return for next New Year. A huge thank you to everyone at Hotel Presidente. I still have two days left and I really don’t want to go home!
Great location and close to bars, restaurants, cafe, shop’s - beach is few minutes walk.
We stayed in room 101, very comfortable stay. Coffee machine in room although we did not use it.
We had half board during our stay. Food was absolutely beautiful on Christmas Day - catered for everyone. Selection of starters, main, deserts, cheese’s, etc … this was a self service. This has been the best Christmas dinner - I’ve had from being away from home.
Staff in all departments helpful and friendly.
Easy access to Philippines 10 pub which was next door. (Great shows). Entertainment in hotel at night from 8pm which we enjoyed. Reasonable price on drinks.
I would definitely return/recommend the Presidente Hotel. Well done to you all at the Hotel Presidente 👍
We returned yesterday from a fabulous Christmas holiday ,our first visit to Benidorm,we certainly chose the perfect hotel . On arrival, we were allocated a room on the 8th floor ours was 824 directly opposite the lifts. Our room & large bathroom was clean ,plenty of storage. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our balcony overlooked a busy street with a side view of the sea,(a 5/10 mins walk away) we heard nothing once the patio doors were closed at night. We also did not hear other guests coming or going to/from the lifts.
The Gallery bar area is spacious and welcoming, with light music playing or light entertainment. Bar prices are very fair,we were served quickly & politely. The Phillipines club adjoining the hotel on the ground floor is lively with various performing quality artists, bar prices are again very fair.
The restaurant is a large space, always immaculately clean, white table linen on at every sitting. Front of house staff always welcoming,as are the bar staff, again bar prices are really fair,we have never been to a hotel & been able to buy a bottle of( good) wine for €6 plus! In fact we did not go anywhere out of the hotel for drinks or entertainment, maybe thats an age thing,we are 71 & 72 years, plus we felt everything we wanted was in the hotel.
Back to the restaurant. The food is excellent, something for everyone,we enjoyed the beef & pork stews, the soups were amazing . We are ' foodies' like good homemade food and this restaurant delivered. The salad bar was very good, usually accompanying our evening meal. Christmas Gala dinner was a feast for the eyes, beautfully presented, in fact I had to compliment the chef personally & shake his hand for all the hard work done by all in the kitchen to put on a spectacular dinner.
So....to all the staff in the hotel, thank you for a wonderfully relaxing Christmas holiday. WELL DONE PRESIDENTE! We will be back.
Just home from Christmas at the Presidente. Like most hotels, we saw good and bad, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a prime location, rooms are fairly spacious, comfortable and functional. The lift "system" is laughable! On the ground floor, you enter the number of the floor you're going to on a keypad and you're allocated one of 3 lifts. Once it arrives, no one else can get in and choose another floor. So one person might have that lift to themselves, to go to their floor! Maybe the top, (8th floor!) leaving lots of people waiting for the next available? Ridiculous! The food is decent, but no more. Not a big selection and only luke warm. (Though there is a microwave available!). Entertainment wise, definitely needs improvement. The oldish guy singing, playing songs, and doing about an hour of (decent) karaoke was ok, but absolutely needs to stop playing the same songs every single night. Especially songs like Penny arcade, The hokey-cokey, (a children's party song?), I am the music man... to name a few!! In the bar below, the "artists" looked like they were there on sufference? Including Leroy Smokes, who did more talking than singing (a relief for some as he was awful!), Kelly Griggs, who sang the great Bob Marley (reggae) song "3 little birds" as a ballad, (and badly) + "My girl"?, + Fairytale of New York. (Has to be sung by 2 people?) as a solo?? And all of them holding the microphone out to the audience participation, because they were so bad themselves!! Christmas day slightly disappointing because of the weather, (quite heavy rain all day), but overall, not that bad, staff were great, and met some lovely people.
The Presidente Hotel is first class, the staff are friendly, the hotel is spotless, the food is good, we stayed from 21st December to 28th December, on Christmas Day the management arrange for a Cocktail party due to the terrible weather this year it was held inside,we had a Christmas Gala,it is absolutely amazing, the food is delicious there is food for everyone, drinks are free. Everyone works so hard to please everyone,it really is amazing, I would recommend The Presidente any time of the year but especially at Christmas there is a lovely atmosphere, everyone enjoys themselves thanks to the management and staff, it must take a lot of organising to achieve such a fantastic result.
It is close to the lavante beach and clubs. the rooms are spacious and kept very clean even on Christmas day .the staff are friendly especially the manager he works extremely hard to make sure everything is perfect .food is plentiful and varied something for everyone.no problems with noise. It's the only hotel we have visited more then once and I have been to quite a lot over the years
This was our second visit to this hotel we stayed for seven nights in August. We booked for Christmas and arrived on the 22nd, we were really looking forward to Christmas here as we were told its an amazing place at this time of year. The hotel is how I remembered it in August clean, the staff are friendly and helpful the food is nice I/we always found something to eat in the selections but, its not very hot, warm at best. Our ages 62,61,26 the rest of the guests were well into old age! Two of us work in care and it felt like a busmans holiday! Christmas day was a wash out with the weather and the festivities were moved inside the building and it was rammed not a seat not sat on anywhere, we moved into Philippines 10 as this was open and again it was rammed! so we gave up and went back to our rooms for a cup of tea! I could carry on but none of the faults and dislikes are really the fault of the hotel or staff, I consider the 4 grand I spent for a lovely Christmas away a complete waste of money, if I we wanted to stay in a five star care home we would have just gone to work! We booked new flights home and left three days early.
Have stayed at a lot of hotels in Benidorm, when this hotel came up on offer I had to book and I was not disappointed.
On arrival check in was very smooth and friendly, our room was ready straight away and even got asked would we like a pool view.
The room was spotless, very well equiped and modern. No faults at all. The restaurant is head and shoulders better than any other. Food was plentiful, hot and varied every day woth themed nights. The bar is very reasonably priced. The staff including the cleaning staff are hard working and very friendly. It was my birthday while I was here and one morning a card was under my door wishing me a happy birthday and a free bottle of cava to celebrate. Its the small touches which makes things that extra bit special.
Would I bool here again, 100% yes and will be returning next year.
The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable the bathroom is very well laid out with a rainfall shower. The cleaners do an excellent job in the room maintenance. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was always very good with plenty of choice.
The pool was heated and although we did not use it this time some people did.
This hotel is located in an excellent position with plenty of places to go to easily in the evening
There is nothing to complain about at this hotel everything is always of the highest standard and the staff are excellent in serving customer needs and providing an excellent atmosphere.
I have to say after staying in a number of hotels in Benidorm, we have returned to the Presidente for Christmas and cannot praise the staff enough for the effort they have put in to making our Christmas special, from the house keeping staff ( Yody) who is always so happy to every member of the Restaurant team ( many of whom we never get to thank in person) Reception staff who are always so helpful, and all the bar staff who work so hard late into the night, we have been very fortunate to have travelled around the world and on many cruise ships, we can highly recommend this hotel to everyone thinking of visiting Benidorm

Our 4th stay this year, just a little break for a week, before the mayhem of xmas!
Great check in by the fantastic Alberto, he is always bubbly whatever time of the day! Reception staff cant do enough for you.
Room spotless, kettle, fridge, safe, fresh towels and toiletries, room was cleaned everyday without fail, big 👏for housekeeping.
We were overlooking the Golden Arrow but honestly we didnt hear anything once doors were closed, great balcony for people watching!
Resturant was great as usual, with the fantastic hard working team there. ❤️Food was good and honestly we couldnt find any fault with it, something for all tastes.
Weather was pretty good and the pool is heated, actually managed 3 dips throughout the week!
Gallery bar, Phillipines great for entertainment, you didnt have to leave the hotel if you didnt want to.
Friends came to visit us and they were well impressed with the hotel and how good the drinks prices were, also how nice the drinks were too!
The hotel looked beautiful in all areas with all the xmas decorations. Well done to everyone🎁🎄🥂☃️Cant wait to return in March. Wishing each and everyone of you a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year xx

Visited the Presidente with my Mother for a week early December. We had been looking forward to the holiday and had heard good reports about the hotel. Unfortunately these reviews misled us. The hotel itself is not welcoming, neither are the staff. The Christmas decorations were cheap and tacky. The lifts are an absolute joke. The food is rubbish. Lukewarm at best and made of the cheapest ingredients. The only things worth eating are the items the hotel has not done anything with i.e. cheese, crackers, tuna (tinned) even the chips are cold. Powdered soup, potato, scrambled eggs. Ugghh. The rooms are tiny. The wardrobe doors are a health hazard. One can't use whilst the other one is using and you're liable to trap your fingers. The beds are rock hard, the pillows are pointless. Unbelievable that you have to pay for your safe (we didn't). Coffee/tea to be paid for after first day of cheap rations. We took our own. I must comment on the toilet paper too - only one grade up from Izal. The maid on our floor, Blanca, clearly couldn't be bothered and didn't even make any effort to clean around. I have a photo of all of the fluff and muck left from the previous occupants, or the occupants before them. There is a Guard, named Dani, patrolling the dining room. He'd be more in place at a high security prison, to put it mildly. The dining room is underground which is disappointing, but that is just a gripe. It would be nice to see outside when you are eating but the view is of a wall. The only things going for this hotel is that it has a nice pool area and the drinks were cheap, in price but also in quality. Entertainment in hotel itself is diabolical, embarrassingly so, however they do have the public Fillipines 10 underneath for a much higher standard of entertainment. I am led to believe this once one of the great Hotels in Benidorm. Well those days are behind it. I won't be returning to this hotel but will be visiting Benidorm again soon as I love it.
Lovely hotel very clean. Always someone cleaning. Had pool view was worth paying the extra as sun shone on the balcony most of the day. Plenty of sun beds and Bali beds to use. The staff are lovely and helpful especially our maid Maria she was cheerful and friendly. We were in our room straight away at 12 didn’t have to wait. Drinks are very reasonable in both the gallery and Philippine 10. A lady fell ill in the dining room as was good to see that Dani the maitre went straight into action and helped her till ambulance arrived. So good to know some one trained. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend, the only reason I gave 4 stars was as one person previously said the food was only warm some days. I could have complained but didn’t as most food was good and there was a lot of variety, especially the deserts
Lovely hotel in a great location and staff are friendly and helpful. The cleaners do a good job and the shows on in the Philippine club are great.
Good selection of food in the restaurant and good quality.
Only downside is the food is tepid at best and no hot plates available so food is almost cold by the time you get back to your table. We actually ate out of the hotel a few times just to get some hot food.
Been to other hotels in Benidorm including one belonging to the same group which had hot plates and hot food so I don’t see what the problem was.
Reported this problem to staff who said they would pass it on.
Stay at the lovely hotel presidente, from the moment we arrived to day that we left the staff were all friendly. The room was spotless clean, they was always something you could find to eat even if one of us is a picky eater, the entertainment in Philippines 10 was 10 out10 .The staff were always friendly, defo will be returning next year.
My wife and I stayed at hotel Presidente from 22 November to 6th December 2025, fantastic hotel, food, staff, cleanliness everything was spot on. The location is central, and the pool is heated, would highly recommend this hotel, great team work there, well done we had a fantastic time.
4th time in a row we have been to presidente brilliant as usual friendly staff great hotel food and entertainment and great rooms were going again in june 2026 great hotel
Went out for Benidorm 10k but unfortunately injured week before so watched from Tiki Town! The hotel is in a fantastic location- far enough from the strip so that it’s quiet but a little walk to the beach and bit of a work to the Old Town. Room was brilliant although didn’t spend a lot of time there! We had half board and the range of food is excellent- even my faddy wife found something to eat! Would definitely go back next year
