Die Lage ist perfekt, gut zu erreichen, wirklich nahe am Angel of the North. Zimmer gut und ausreichend groß. Anlage und Parkplatz wirkten einladend.
Beim Check-in erstmal lange warten müssen, was vermeidbar schien. Frühstück nicht am Abend zum Buchen, sondern anscheinend a la carte am Morgen.
Absolutes No-Go: Abfrage einer bisher nicht benutzten 2. Kreditkarte (warum auch immer).

Accessibility is limited - some rather steep steps to get to some of the rooms. As for the room I was in (I requested on arrival a ground floor room and was initally suggested to me that I 'upgrade'! This was swiftly queried and no additional cost was charged. The room I was in (ground floor) was in the stable blook, good size, however very limited with plug points - the lighting is poor - two small lamps and an overhead. The lamps gave out very little in the way of lumens! I had been travelling for work, however the wi-fi was non existent unless I was in the bar/dining area and there was no mobile signal at all.

Was spotless and very comfy had a great sleep after standing at a concert in the rain. The lady on reception was so friendly also.
Room was a little dated. They forgot to put up the extra bed in the family room for us
View of the angel or the north sat in gardens and close to Beamish musuem. Food was really nice also
No one around this morning when checking out, wanted get breakfast before leaving but no one was around
