They could have had Architrave around the door frame . And filled the dents in the walls in
The view was fantastic. Angel of the North could be seen directly out of our bedroom window.
The room looked very worn and the shower head was too heavy and loose for its bracket and the bathroom was really dark and uninviting.
Nice food lovely staff
but didn't appreciate getting woke up constantly floorboards creaky woke up by loud customers throughout the whole night very unhappy by this really unlikely to revisit unless sort out troubles
Not much but the location was OK
I was under the impression the 2 night stay included breakfast but it did not.
The room allocated was was not suitable as I would have to climb many stairs (I'm disabled ) they found me a room in the stables and charged me £50 for the change
The room had very poor WiFi signal and I had to go outside to make and receive calls.
This meant my family couldn't reach me for a couple of days unless the phone was outside.
Overall I think booking . Com did a bad job and the Hotel kept telling me I should've booked directly as the price would have been cheaper and would have included breakfast.
Booking.com has lost me as a customer and the hotel will never be used by me or my family again.
Very helpful staff and great breakfast
Did request the 2 rooms booked to be next to each other because of my Mother in-laws health but we were at opposite ends of the hotel which was a little bit concerning
Great location, friendly staff.
Staff, girls where amazing, fish and chips amazing
Room, bathroom,
Brilliant
Tighten the toilet seat but not a problem
Nice big room
Staff were lovely. Location was ideal for a short drive to visit beamish.
We asked to change rooms to a room with a view original room was looking out onto the hotel. The second room we changed to was a view of the car park entrance and the kitchen fan was located directly outside our window. 7am every morning the noise from the fan woke us up and the bedroom floor vibrated.
Clean and friendly
Nothing
