For the price it was beyond our expectations, staff great and breakfast was also nice. Courtyard is a sun heaven and was nice to relax with a very nice cold beer.
Room was lovely, staff friendly
Booking through booking .com meant had to pay for meals etc , will book direct with hotel next time
Location ideal, being adjacent to A1, though a little awkward to navigate the last few hundred yards off of it into the hotel's grounds.
Walking about upstairs was noisy due to movement in the floorboards.
Bed very comfortable
Need a call button at reception to raise domeone / walls at an angle easy to hit strain on neck
Location
Lack of plug sockets in room
Location
Rooms a little cold as radiator not working properly
Location and friendly staff. Food was good but over salty.
Noisy doors in corridor outside room/Room 3. Hard to get tv remote to work. Very small room. Shower cubicle doors broken.
Very friendly staff
The shower was useless no power just drip drip.
Beautiful, cosy, good food and wonderful staff
Great location. Loads of parking
Small bathroom if being honest
Me and my husband were at a friend's 60th birthday party at the Angel Friday 20th March which was absolutely brilliant. The room was very clean and arranged so good. The staff were 2nd to none and really happy joining in dancing. Buffet was delicious and the music was fab.
We decided to stay the night. We were in room 24 which is an outside room at the stable block. It was immaculate, warm and cozy. Bed was very comfortable with gleaming linen. Plenty tea, coffee and biscuits. Blackout curtains fab which is good for the time of year. Breakfast was perfect and the breakfast staff also very lovely and friendly.
Overall a lovely night and a relaxing stay over. Well done to the Angel View hotel and brilliant staff : )
Nice location
Room was very small and dated. Bed was uncomfortable
The location, friendly staff, cosy room and the food!
Difficulty getting in late at night though the night porter was amazing. They could do with an intercom on the door or giving customers a key for the outside door
