Great location great price alright experience
Pros:

Location is good very close to the slopes just 1 road away. Staff were good, friendly and always smiling. Breakfast was great, decent selection (pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, deserts were really nice) and all items always available. Prices were decent. Spa is pretty decent, lots of facilities and space.

Cons:

Bar felt very odd, like a cafeteria rather than a bar, generally had to wait to be served even when only one other person being served. i think more bar staff required. Evening food was not great, confusing setup, buffet for some basics (cold cooked carrots, sweetcorn, peppers, slaw etc but not for main basics like chips, mash, or any other hot food). Then menu was a selection of 3 starters and 3 mains. Some of which was quite odd i.e. burger and mash (no bun with only basic hard bread rolls available) dessert was a choice of 2 which some were nice however for breakfast there were loads, this should be available on the evening also. Boot room was very basic, no lockers however there were boot warmers and ski/board stands. 3 schools came on Sat and the restaurant had ran out of 1 of the items (bbq ribs) within 20 mins of opening. The next nights the schools seemed to be staggered but did have pizza (which was not on the menu for included menu items) i do understand why they had pizza for the schools however felt this should have been an offered item for everyone not just the schools as it seems unfair.

Una parte del personale poco preparata, alcune camere veramente vecchie, dalle fotografie presenti sul sito, non si capisce che una parte dell’hotel è stato ristrutturato ed una parte è rimasto agli anni 70. In una camera abbiamo trovato delle cicche attaccate sotto ai comodini, arrivati, ci accorgiamo di aver prenotato camere diverse, per nostro errore, così chiediamo in reception di poter cambiare una delle camere con una di livello superiore, pagando ovviamente la differenza, ci viene risposto da parte della persona responsabile del check in di notte, (siamo arrivati alle 22:30 ma su avviso telefonico) che non è possibile in quanto non ci sono stanze libere ma sopratutto che avendo prenotato con Booking, anche pagando non si possono fare cambi. La camera in questione si trova sopra di una discoteca e fino alle 3 di notte è impossibile dormire.
Il giorno seguente una volta tornati in reception il personale presente, molto più gentile di quello della notte precedente, ci comunica che l’albergo è mezzo vuoto e non capiscono perché di tale risposta ricevuta la sera precedente. Paghiamo la differenza, e ci viene cambiata la camera.
