Stay in lovely Porlock
Pros:

The staff(particularly the young waitress )were lovely.
The location was good and it was very useful to have directions about where to park.
Food both at breakfast and dinner was very nice.
The mattress was very comfy.

Cons:

The room was very small.

Very friendly hotel and enjoyed the breakfast. Beautiful location.
Pros:

I liked that we had milk in a thermos for our tea, I liked the comfy bed and the peaceful setting and that the hotel remembered we had requested the room to be set up as a twin.

Cons:

It was really hot - would have been really nice if the blind had been closed earlier in the day so that the room wasn't as hot when we arrived.

Lovely hotel in historic village
Pros:

Great location for walking the coast path or for exploring coast and countryside. Central in the village.

Short beds. Spotted a few cobwebs in the communal sitting area

Lovely overnuight stay whilst doing the South West Coast Path.
Pros:

Lovely little historic hotel in a quiet village. Room was nice, great english breakfast. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Enjoyed our stay. Good value.

Cons:

Shower could have been better, but overall everything was fine.

Lovely central Porlock hotel
Pros:

Lovely restaurant and bar.
Neat room with good lamps. Nice view.

Cons:

Our room was very small. Very cosy but felt should have been slightly cheaper for size.

If staying in Porlock, this hotel is perfectly adequate for a night or two :)
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel in the main street of Porlock with easy access to pubs and restaurants.

SW coast leg 1 stop over.
Pros:

Interesting older building with character. They also had a great menu for dogs.

Cons:

Didn't like the flashing light in smoke alarm directly above bed. TV reception was sparse. Other than that no complaints.

it felt more like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast.
Pros:

Breakfast didn't start until 8.00am which was too late as I had to start work at 8.30. No option was offered

Cons:

The wifi did not work on the top floor
