Check-in after 18:00 must be requested at least 1 hour before arrival., otherwise may result in prolonged waiting time or no access to the property.

Please note that the property does not accept any bookings for more than 6 people (4 adults and 2 children maximum). The property does also not allow visitors to hotel rooms. The Regency Hotel Brighton only allows the maximum occupation of people as advertised in each room.

Check in starts at 14:00. Upon prior arrangement with the property, guests can leave their luggage at the hotel starting with 09:00.

Please note that there is no elevator at this property.

Regency Square Car Park is the nearest car park to the property. Reservation is not possible.

Don’t stay at this hole
Pros:

I booked a room with 4 poster bed which was advertised on the site. This was not the room I received.

Cons:

The fact that I was not give the room that I booked. I was given something that was very tired and could do with substantial renovation.

Besser nicht !!!!

Das Bett war auch bequem . Aber das war es dann leider auch .

Cons:

Der Preis spiegelt leider den Zustand der Unterkunft wider. Es gibt keinen Aufzug und insgesamt wirkt vieles stark in die Jahre gekommen oder reparaturbedürftig.
Bei meiner Ankunft funktionierte die Toilettenspülung nicht, sodass ich diese zunächst selbst instand setzen musste. Das größte Problem war jedoch der stark verstopfte Duschabfluss. Bereits nach kurzer Zeit staute sich das Wasser so sehr, dass Duschen nur noch abschnittsweise möglich war – immer wieder musste ich warten, bis das Wasser abgelaufen war. Das war auf Dauer sehr unangenehm und vor allem sehr kalt in der zugigen Dusche .
Da im Bad offenbar bereits neuer Boden verlegt wurde, liegt die Vermutung nahe, dass dieses Problem nicht erst seit Kurzem besteht. Hier hätte im Rahmen der Reinigung oder Wartung dringend gehandelt werden müssen.
Auch sonst machten viele Details einen alten und teilweise ungepflegten Eindruck (Silikonfugen, WC-Spülgriff, Wasserkocher, bereitgestelltes Duschgel).
Für ein bis zwei Nächte mit geringen Ansprüchen mag es ausreichen. Positiv ist die Aussicht auf das Brighton i360. Wer jedoch Wert auf Komfort und einen guten Zustand legt, wird hier vermutlich enttäuscht sein.

Great location
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. Manager was nice and upgraded us for free and easy to contact.

Cons:

The hot water didn't work when we got in at 4am, in the morning we let it run for a long time to get it going.

Would book again.
Pros:

Although a bit dated and displaying quite a bit of wear and tear, the room was very clean. Sufficient toiletries, toilet paper, tea bags etc were provided for the length of stay. Adjustable room thermostat. Bed linen was good quality. Landlord very kindly carried my heavy case full of conference materials to the third floor. Sea view was great. The lock system was good, felt secure. Brilliant location, close to seafront, Brighton Centre and lots of restaurants and grocery shops.

Cons:

Something to wash cups and glasses would be good, also a desk light and mini fridge.

Hotel needs upgrading both on decor and furnishings.
Cons:

Disappointing all in all on both cleanliness and just from our experince during the stay. Questions put through to staff via booking portal etc was never answered (and doubt even looked at)
There was an incident last night of stay in which another guest had to call the police however there were no staff on site to respond

Good for short term stays
Pros:

Bed was super comfy and we didn’t hear much noise from others, had a nice view. Got late checkout for free which was really lovely and well needed

Cons:

The bathroom needs an upgrade as the door doesn’t shut properly or lock and the paint is chipping. The tv is very old so didn’t have a lot we could watch.

Thank God that I got out of there safe and sound.
Pros:

I didn't like anything.

Cons:

The hotel is very very dirty. We just walked in and it felt like we were in a public toilet instead of a room. Don't go there, it's very dirty. The workers are very suspicious, unfriendly, I was even scared to be there. Even though I was there for no more than 15 minutes, the stench that was there still haunts me. We left without even asking for our money back.

Recommend The Regency Hotel for a holiday at Brighton.
Pros:

A beautiful view from the room I had with balcony on Regency Square, the I360 and sea view but at the same time a little bit frightening on Monday morning when it was raining and the waves on the sea were very high.
Also, have to mention very good conditions for a building from 19th Century. Thank you.

Cons:

No reception and the stairs to the first floor; however I was very happy with my stay.
I will definitely book again in the future.
