Staff were friendly enough, rooms and reception were nice.
Pool was cold, was just told ‘well it meets the legal minimum requirement’. Pools contains a jacuzzi as well, pool was ok to swim but not to relax in the jacuzzi. Locker rooms were a mis-match of different types of locks and in need of a refurbish. Was told the spa was refurbished in the last few weeks!!! Breakfast was poor, hash browns were greasy and deep fried. We paid extra for the breakfast and wasn’t included in the room, was told it was a continental breakfast but the continental part was a couple of pastry’s, cereal and a bowl of fruit. Came down for breakfast and there was little left, had to wait for things to be replenished. Outside of the rooms and reception the hotel is quite run down and needs some work.
Breakfast staff amazing and breakfast good.
Tired decor, not clean enough, towels frayed, rooms Cold, dinner poor, toilets need good clean and need attention.

The spa , room, and staff, good breakfast
I thought the evening meal portions were very large....but was cooked well and service was really good too
The breakfast was the only good thing and some staff
The fact I ordered food at 830 and got told at 920 that the order wasn't put through so they couldn't provide us with food but a quick pizza .even though I ordered a steak and s bacon chop .the member of staff who didn't put it through didn't even apologise it was someone else .me and my partner both travelled from work which was 2 hrs away and was very hungry .plus the rm only had one spare pillow and the towels were low and ons toilet roll .and the shower was very badly running .the bathroom panel was a mess and orange stained the rm didn't seem clean .the worst stay at the hotel I've ever had .and paid the same price as I have before but with no spa access .disappointed
Facilities
Bit dated
Not a lot
It was marketed very well. I expected it to be luxury.
No spa due to renovations. They upgraded me as I didn’t see the closure on booking.
My room was large but the bed was so uncomfortable. The room carpets were old and needed updating.
