View from room
Shower wasnt working great, leaking and cold.
I never made breakfast but hotel was perfect location for where I had to go
Nothing everything was perfect for me
The room was lovely. View of St James park was fab. Great facilities in room including iron, kettle, fridge & microwave
Breakfast was good, had great variety of continental & cooked items. Only negative was the black pudding. You could tell ut was cheap & frankly inedible but dont want that to take away from the rest of the great range on offer
The location was perfect.
Always enjoy our stays here having been coming back and fourth since October 2025
Location
Shower room wasn’t the best hard to use but everything else was fine. Noise from outside can be disturbing but it what you expect from city centre location opposite the stack
Nice breakfast and lovely view of st james park
Couldn't use shower as it was keep flooding the bathroom
Location - was close to city centre
Noise from Stack across the road - noise from road all through the night. Heating in room not working. Breakfast was delicious but was expensive at £20.
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds
Bathroom door squeaky
Check out staff very friendly.
Shark club bar very nice.
Cleanliness was very good.
Close to city centre.
Discounted parking at Q-Park, a short walk from the hotel.
DO NOT stay in a stadium view room if you plan to sleep before midnight, not everyone visiting Newcastle is there for a party. The stack across the road is so loud you feel like you are lying in a nightclub.
Reception phoned who informed me that noise would stop at midnight and asked “was that it”
The rooms don’t have curtains, and blinds don’t fully block out morning sun.
We would choose other hotels should we return to Newcastle.
