For the most part we enjoyed our stay at the Rabot. I was a little disappointed in the location of our room as we heard the restaurant and staff most of the day/night and we had virtually no view other than of the restaurant.
The staff was friendly and our room was quite nice and well kept.
Just finished a 3 night stay which was absolutely wonderful! Can’t recommend it enough!
Special call-out to Cindy and Marguerite for their wonderful concierge service and also to Vernita for being a wonderful server and giving extra care for gluten free needs!
The location is incredible and it was a wonderful experience for Celiacs!
We had a fantastic 3 nights here that was the perfect way to finish our 2 week honeymoon.
The views from both our room and the restaurant / pool are just epic. Think I took around 50 pictures of that view throughout the day in different lights.
Our room was very clean and a perfect way to spend the day relaxing. One thing we loved about staying here was the abundance of wildlife and especially the birds.
Our highlight of our stay was the tree to bar chocolate tour that was excellent and so much fun.
All our meals at the restaurant were lovely and very much enjoyed the additional tasters between our main courses. The steak was particularly excellent.
The only slight negative aspect of staying here was the mosquitos throughout the night. The bed does have a fly net and you do get a mosquito bat that makes a very satisfying snap crackle and pop when you get one of the little bastards! Despite that we did get a few bites as we noticed there was a gap in the floor boards between the net and the bed which we suspect they weee getting in. On nights two and three we tucked the net into the mattress which was a lot more successful in keeping them out.
Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at Rabot Hotel.
Having already done all the sites on the island, we were able to just chill out around the hotel, and enjoy it's beautiful location and amenities. We arranged to do the 'Tree to Bean to Bar' experience just before we checked in, so the timing was perfect.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Literally the worst experience in my entire life of traveling. The food is terrible, we were treated like unfairly from Hotel Manger and Security.
The hotel manager, James Holah was unwilling to apologize for an incident that occurred on the property even after there was no proof of our involvement. We will not be staying at the hotel in the future and do not recommend the experience.
My partner and I recently stayed at Rabot Hotel by Hotel Chocolat, and what should have been a peaceful stay turned into a frightening and humiliating experience.
After returning to our room from dinner, we heard a noise nearby. The property manager contacted us to ask whether we had noticed anything unusual. We fully cooperated and calmly explained what we heard.
Shortly afterward, the manager returned with police officers. Without justification, the officers were rude, hostile, and verbally abusive toward both of us. We were spoken to aggressively, treated like suspects rather than guests, and explicitly threatened with arrest—despite having done nothing wrong.
Throughout this interaction, the hotel manager stood by and made no attempt to de-escalate the situation, intervene, or advocate for us as paying guests. No apology was offered by the hotel or the police.
As guests, we expect safety, professionalism, and basic respect. Instead, we were left feeling intimidated, criminalized, and unsafe in our own hotel room. This experience was deeply unsettling and entirely unacceptable.
I’m sharing this publicly because guest safety and dignity should never be optional, and accountability matters.
Qamazing place and architecture
Price is a little high and not enough mosquito protection in the room
Awesome amazing experience 🥳 Treated my daughter for her birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉
The only downside was the attack of the mosquitoes. It would have been a perfect bday trip, but the mosquitoes were overwhelming. We were literally in distress from the bites.
View from pool of piton was amazing, lunch food and drinks was great. also service was very good.
quite noisy to have a good night sleep, was also hot in the room.
Service and staff were amazing! The resort is beautiful with great views. Any adjustments requested were made without hesitation. Communication throughout the booking process was quick.
This was an unbelievably picturesque location in the trees with a view of the beautiful Piton mountains. I was aghast when I saw that we could see the Petit Piton from our room! And oh, the room! Spotless, free standing, naturally air conditioned they were comfortable, luxurious and beautiful! The staff was unceasingly kind and accommodating.... from the reception, to the servers, the housekeeping staff, to the drivers and tour guides. I cannot recommend enough!
The Rabot has somethings going for it - the architecture, rooms (luxe lodges), views of the petit piton and large bathrooms with rain showers are all what you expect from a 4 star hotel BUT beware the no air conditioning issue. Everything is open air - you sleep under double layered mosquito nets but you still need to spray yourself to prevent being bitten while walking on the property or eating at their hugely overpriced restaurant. The swimming pool looks great in pics but is pretty unusable with a small poolside bar. In terms of activities, the Rabot estate makes for a lovely walk as does the Chocolate experience. Other than that, all excursions require driving and are pricey. Suggest you rent a car and organize your own. The BIG issue however, is that the hotel is on the highway. There is non-stop traffic noise (including revving motorcycles at night) that do not make for a peaceful environment. Its an Ok stop for a couple of nights while your off to more vacation-suitable spots but not where I would stay for an extended period. Also beware the Sulphur fumes that can blow your way and be quite strong on occasion
We have been visiting St. Lucia for years and we always make a point of visiting the restaurant for a chocolate treat.
They used to make a fabulous chocolate fondue, sadly it hasn’t been back on the menu for years. Also their hot chocolate served in a tea pot used to be fantastic. The last few years it has been disappointing. Way too sweet, real melted hot chocolate should not be overly sweet. When queried, the staff said it was the natural sweetness of the chocolate! 🙄. We would return for the chocolate and fresh fruit fondue, if they ever reinstate it.
This is, hands down, a wonderfully run and maintained hotel. And the views of the Piton are breathtaking (particularly at sunset from the infinity pool). Food is great and the chocolate tour is really worthwhile. In addition, the staff is super friendly and helpful. You will have a spectacular experience as long as you are aware that the property has zero A/C. All accommodations are open air. We found the breezes combined with fans enough for many great night's sleep (with the night sounds and, at times, rain, lulling us to sleep). That said, if you need A/C, this is NOT the place for you. If that is the case, do yourself a favor and still book the chocolate estate tour and come to the hotel for dinner (get there before sunset for dinner).
This property had an exceptional view of the Gros Piton. The restaurant is worth a visit.
No air conditioning. Lots of mosquitos.
The room was pleasant; however, the staff were not particularly friendly or accommodating. The food was merely satisfactory.
This hotel is exquisite extremely helpful and safe for solo travelers manager Mrs Marguerite, Cindy, Krystal, and kailanna. Very professional
Such a beautiful place. The staff were wonderful and attentive! Krystal started off trip off at the check and couldn’t have been sweeter!!!! Antonio, Dylan, Adrien and Jordan added to the incredible hospitality and were constantly going above and beyond for us.
