Central location to explore old/new Jerusalem
Pros:

I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom for three nights. Location was very convenient. A couple of minutes walk to Jaffa Street where the light rail is located. Ten minutes walk to old Jerusalem. The a/c was good and cable tv showed French open…yay. I had room facing street and on the evening of sabbath, it was very quiet. Then Sunday night there was some soccer game, maybe finals of the champions league…I dunno but it was a tad loud. I read from other reviews that there’s a club next door. It’s not a club but more like a couple of bars and one with outdoor seating. The noise wasn’t that bad and I was on the lowest floor on the side closest to bars. Room was relatively clean, though linen had a few stains. The pictures I’ve seen on this site of the property are a bit misleading.

The safe in the room is non functional. Also the rainfall shower head was more like garden hose shower head. The refrigerator was noisier than the noise from the bars. The chambermaid’s kid plays soccer in the hallway during the day while she’s cleaning so that can be annoying if you need to rest during the day.

Pros:

The only good thing about this hotel was location. The first guy staff was good.
There was no elevator so second floor sucked with suitcases. He did carry them up for us, but there was no one there to help when we checked out. Even though we askedfor someone. There is no one there from 11pm to 11am. You are given a whats app number to call. We had a very loud bar beside our room that went till very late. Then people talking and chanting till 1 am. Bring ear plugs!
The patios doors wouldnt close, the fridge needed to be defrosted. There was a bed mattress in stairway. The only reason to stay here is location and price but be prepared

Would rather stay in a manger
Pros:

I think a barnyard would have been quieter than this place. Noise from the street from partiers until about 1am. Car horns all night long. Noise from the hallway. The maids, the maid's carts, other guests, and every time one rolled a suitcase through the hall in came in crystal clear in the room. We could hear TVs, audio conversations, bed squeaks, etc. as if they were in the room with us. One could literally hear a device being plugged into the socket through the shared wall.

Second issue was hotwater. Sometimes nothing, sometimes barely above room temperature, other times scalding hot for a brief second. Then was the consistency of the water pressure and hotwater. Toilet flushing in another room dropped pressure and brought about a chill.

Maid's serviced the room nearly every day we were there, but there were times we ended up with no towels and had to ask at the front desk. There was someone at the desk more or less consistently in the afternoon. However, in the mornings they were almost not existent.

Pro tip: linens are on the first floor, and towels are on the second.

No elevator, even with 3-4 floors of rooms. Climbing the stairs got to ba chore after climbing the hills of Jerusalem.

Great location
Pros:

Just a few steps away from Jaffa street, the hotel is really in a great location. The room was quiet big and comfortable (despite the carpet on the floor), clean and quiet. Suggested if you need something easy in the center of Jerusalem

Pros:

The hotel is close to a bar and/or restaurant and as such it gets very noisy until late at night. Had trouble sleeping on most nights I was there (over the weekend). Check-in is not convenient (3pm only, there is nobody there before that?), and the clerk could not care less. Room was clean, but quite small.

Great location
Pros:

This hotel is in the perfect location for walking to the old town and all the other districts in Jerusalem, including shops and restaurants. It’s not the cleanest hotel especially the bathroom and breakfast room is a bit of a construction site. But they did give us a free room upgrade to a large spacious suite

Pros:

The room was newly renovated and clean. It was a bit small (double bed, a small desk, small porch and a small bathroom with a nice shower), however, it suited my needs. I was on vacation with my son touring and we just needed it for sleeping. It was walking distance to everything. It is on a quite street but a block away from all the night action and resturants.

Would definatly stay again.

Great location, bare necessities!
Pros:

Location is spectacular. Just a minute or two from Jaffa Street. The rooms are small but functional. Not all the lights worked in my room so it could be quite dark. I was also disturbed by the fact that I could not double-lock the door. The deadbolt was disabled and there was no latch lock, either.

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great but toiletries missing the first day. Supplies are not really replenished unless you ask, but hotel staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. There is NO breakfast so don't pay for it. But there is a Cafe Hillel and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf just around the corner.

This hotel does not have a lift/elevator, so you'll be taking the stairs. Good for exercise but difficult if you don't like doing stairs. Reception rarely has anyone at the desk. But when they do, they are extremely friendly.

don't bank on having breakfast!
Pros:

location is good, room was fine, but despite advertising 'typical Israeli breakfast,' there was no breakfast on offer at all - and sun roof is an insult! and reception was rarely staffed - and no advice given on where to get breakfast on shabbat

Good choice for a visit to Jerusalem
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of West Jerusalem, just one minute away of Jaffa Street, within walking distance of the Old City. Good-sized, comfortable, impeccably clean rooms, excellent breakfast and very helpful staff: it was a great choice for a four-day stay at unforgettable Jerusalem. We did not realise how lively Jaffa Street would be, both day and night: it was a pleasant discovery to see we were that close to the heart of the new city. And yet, our hotel, just a few steps away, was in a peaceful, silent corner: after a day walking around, we slept deeply and calmly.

It was value for money
Pros:

The hotel room is quite small and there is no lift but it has basic things that I need. I like the balcony. Staff members were friendly and willing to help, breakfast was also quite good, excellent location.

Clean and friendly stay in great location
Pros:

We just got back from a 2 week stay in Jerusalem visiting our daughter, and stayed here during our visit. It was a really nice spot for our home away from home.

The staff here is incredibly friendly - from the time we arrived at our hotel and checked in, through our morning breakfasts, and some helpful gestures, they were all incredibly nice. A generous "Boker Tov" every morning as we walked down the stairs, and friendly faces at the front desk and breakfast staff. One day we needed something printed for our kids who are there for a semester and didn't have a printer and they generously printed it out for us.

The rooms are nice, but somewhat spartan on the walls. Our room was large, with a nice closet and a small refrigerator and hot water maker, but only one desk and a small night table. The bathroom was also a reasonable size, but could really use a few more hooks or shelves. There was only one small hook above the sink, and no other bars or hooks in the room, so there was no other place to hang up towels or put toiletries. No problem with the water - it was nice and hot any time of the day or night. The bed was also incredibly comfortable and the pillows also very nice. Overall, not fancy or luxury, but very clean and comfortable room to stay in.

One point though - and I don't know if it is an issue with all the rooms or not - our room faced into a courtyard behind the building that was the back of several bars. The noise, while not bad, was persistent throughout many evenings. It wasn't really a problem for us as the main noise seemed to be heard in the bathroom, but if you are sensitive to noises in the evening you may try to ask for a quieter room. Another note to be aware of - no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage or otherwise have issues with stairs, you may want to ask for a room on one of the lower levels.

The breakfasts are generous - fresh fruit, juice, halva, yoghurt (including unsweetened greek - yeah!!), cereal, hard boiled eggs, roasted vegetables, cheeses (including several of the Israeli style soft cheeses), pastries, salads, and one or two hot items every day - sometimes scrambled eggs, sometimes shakshuka, sometimes potato wedges, and usually served with a tomato sauce or gravy available. Also some bread rolls (only one type, which is surprising given Israelis love for different types of breads and baked goods) along with honey, butter, and jam. They also have hot water for tea (or instant coffee) along with a coffee maker for fresh ground coffee. My one disappointment here is the lack of tea choices - especially no nana tea! Last time I was in Israel I feel in love with the fresh peppermint (nana) tea served at many places, and many places also serve bagged peppermint tea. But, alas, no mint tea here to be found - either bagged or fresh.

Overall, a really warm and comfortable place to stay when in the city. Close to the Old City, close to Ben Yehuda, right by the light rail on Jaffa to take you to the shuk (also within walking distance) or around town. Close to King George and many major bus routes. The staff are all incredibly nice and welcoming. The price is really reasonable. Definitely a place worth checking out and we would be happy to stay there again.

Great Hotel
Pros:

I stayed here four nights. My room was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the Old City. Close to a light rail stop. Good breakfast. Every member of the staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful. My street facing room was on the small side and there was noise from the street until 0300. Head phones blocked it. Be warned there is no elevator if that's an issue. I would definitely stay here again.
