Vielen Dank für die freundliche "Aufnahme"
Tolle Zimmer und ein super Bad!
Besten Dank!
It was clean, bathtub was spacious. Room was quiet
An absolute lack of service. I stayed for 5 nights- room was cleaned once. I had to ask for fresh towels. No milk in fridge. Very basic supplies. I was locked out of my room on the second night on purpose without notice ! When I went to reception it was unattended. 15 minutes later someone finally came and said that was because I owed the city tax which they hadn’t charged when I paid on arrival. ( they had all my details and my credit card details- this was an oversight on their part on check in). I cannot believe they locked me out instead of calling or emailing or putting a note in my room when I was still there for several nights.
Stayed a couple of nights here on a business trip, working nearby, and it turned out to be a very practical and pleasantly calm option.
Location-wise it’s genuinely handy: easy access to supermarkets, not far from the Altstadt, and about two minutes’ walk to the next tram stop. From there you can get to the main station (and beyond) or head towards the Media Harbour area very easily.
My room was very quiet — exactly what I like — and while it wasn’t huge, it felt cosy rather than cramped. There’s a fridge as well, which is ideal for keeping a few drinks and snacks on hand. The welcome at reception was warm, and the breakfast team were just as friendly. Breakfast itself was solid: a good buffet in a nicely lit breakfast room, and comfortable enough that I lingered a little longer than planned to catch up on emails.
What it doesn’t have (at least at the moment) is an on-site restaurant, though there are several places close by so it’s hardly a hardship. The bigger let-down for me was the lack of a hotel bar — I’m not sure if that’s a permanent thing or just current, but it did feel like a missed opportunity. If you’re travelling with colleagues or seminar groups, you’ll likely head elsewhere for an evening drink.
Overall, a very nice stay: quiet, comfortable, and it certainly seems to be well run. Ideal for a short work trip or a quick city visit. It’s not really a “holiday hotel”, but for a couple of nights in Düsseldorf, it does the job very well — and I’d happily stay again.
Double beds in the room instead of twin beds would have been better
the reception
the breakfast is poor ,there was no armchair in the room ,the electric oven didnt work
Unangenehm.
