My wife's comment was that it couldn't have been any better.
Pros:

I had booked tickets for the Motown night at the cathedral. I had flowers and chocolates ordered to be delivered for the room, to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday.
On checking in the staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful.
There was also a complete surprise of a bottle of bubblee.
The complete package made my wife so very happy.
Thanks to all at the Queensgate.

I recently stayed in Room 4, and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience. I booked this stay expecting a restful night, but that was impossible due to several issues:
​Excessive Noise: The sound insulation is practically non-existent. I could hear people walking upstairs throughout the entire night, and the door outside my room seemed to smash shut constantly, making it impossible to sleep.
​Uncomfortable Bed: A hotel’s primary job is providing a good bed, but the one in Room 4 was extremely uncomfortable and offered very little support.
​General Disturbance: Between the heavy foot traffic above and the slamming doors, the environment was loud and restless.
​I chose this hotel for a comfortable stay, but I left feeling exhausted. I would not recommend Room 4 to anyone sensitive to noise, and I hope management looks into the door-closing mechanisms and bed quality.

Nothing as my guests were not allowed to stay as 1 under 18 and 1 over 18 so pleaae read properly and be aware no under 18s allowed even with over 18s

Cons:

For some reason, doors banging and crashing ALL NIGHT. Bathroom fan from adjacent room so loud it sounded like my bathroom fan, ALL NIGHT. Uncomfortable bed, wafer thin pillows, horror shower, rotten breakfast which was a massive rip off.

Value and warm.
Pros:

Old building in need of refurbishment but the hotel was warm and clean. The staff were welcoming. Best bed i have slept on in several years!!!. Parking free. Very good value

Cons:

The stairs are steep

Une option raisonnable à Peterborough.
Pros:

Hotel situé sur une grande avenue, à 10 mn à pied de la cathedrale. Bon breakfast pour pas cher. Et il est possible de garer une voiture.

Cons:

L'établissement a un peu vieilli, mais reste correct.
