Staff were amazing
Room was shabby, stains on bedding. Hotel looked shabby everywhere
Absolutely nothing
The dirty sheets, the cigarette burns all over the carpet, the lack of care from the staff. The lack of options to resolve the issues.
The room was nice and clean if not a little dated but for the price was adequate and comfortable.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming but the overnight staff were very rude. He told us the bar was shut which was fair but then served one of his mates. When I questioned this he implied that we were drunk and fell out of our taxi. My disabled partner with mobility issues was extremely offended by this as I had to help her from the car. The barmans friend said to him that" he should think about serving us as he didn't think we would cause any trouble even if we looked like we would"
We are alternative looking and had been to a music event but felt that this was discriminating towards our appearance and disability.
The whole experience ruined our stay unfortunately.

Rooms in need of Reno. Im not picky but the room did smell a little and the view from my room was a brick wall. Bathroom was not great. My shower was broken and the grouting and tiles whilst mostly clean but needed re grouting and a deep clean. If I’m picky the cups with the kettle were so small …. Really need a mug. Carpet had a big stain on it.
Rooms were a good size
Bathtub edging had mould.
Window could not be closed due to a broken handle.

I made a mistake on my phone when booking 24 hours before my stay and booking.com by selecting the night after the night I needed to stay, nor the hotel could change my booking. So I had to pay the full price and the hotel could not amend despite having empty rooms. Despite quickly reporting my error. My last time using booking.com - customer service was useless and you have lost a customer forever. Also can’t understand why the hotel couldn’t let me stay as they had taken my money.

This is a friendly clean hotel with parking. The restaurant serves traditional British cuisine which we enjoyed. The room was clean and comfortable and the internet service was excellent.
I would have loved.more tea and sugar provided in the room, there were just 2 tea bags and none were replaced.
