Pros:

We love the breakfast with fresh breads, cold cuts, different cheeses, yogurts. The location is right in town and just at the bridge to take the Matterhorn during day break. The hotel provide free spa facilities which we appreciate after a day of trekking in the mountains. We are pleased with our stay and the facilities, even though the town cemetery is outside the hotel. Did not fuss us a bit.

Great view!
Pros:

This hotel has several things going for it. We appreciated its location just outside the busy center of Zermatt, making it a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The setting beside the park and cemetery was lovely, and our balcony offered an amazing view of the Matterhorn, which was definitely the highlight of our stay.

Cons:

There were, however, a couple of things that took away from the overall experience. Our room became very hot, and unfortunately no fan was available to help cool it down. We also found the breakfast to be fairly mediocre. As someone with celiac disease, I was especially disappointed by the gluten-free option. The bread provided was frozen, crumbly, and lacked flavor, and there was no way to heat it, which made breakfast much less enjoyable.

Overall, the beautiful location and spectacular Matterhorn view were the standout features of our stay.
