Verdura Resort

What could I say about this incredible resort. We’ve been going to Verdura on a yearly basis sometimes twice a year since the resort opened back in 2011. We did miss 2020 due to Covid. We love the entire staff especially Nando the Sommelier @ Zagara restaurant & Maurizio Belvedere @ Liola restaurant. The service & the food is incredible looking forward to 2027.

We had a fabulous vacation at Verdura Resort. It is a beautiful, unspoiled setting near Sciacca Sicily. One of the things that made the trip so special was a staff member named Angela. Angela assisted us with our family cooking class and translated for us and the chef while also helping us with the steps and serving our finished lunch. She was lovely to talk to and very understanding and accommodating to our daughter who has food and texture sensitivities. We were also greeted by Angela at Biongiorno Restaurant for breakfast where she was always so welcoming.

We had the most magical evening at the Serata Siciliana event. Luis, Vittorio and Jerry took incredible care of us and made us feel like family. An unforgettable night at Verdura Resort in Sicily!

Spectacular week at the RF-Verdura near Sciacca. Well kept and excellent facilities (dining pool golf tennis gym spa beach boat), friendly and responsive staff, wonderful location near some of Sicily’s most beautiful coast and history (Castelbellota etc)

Fantastic resort. The golf was great, the resort is so well designed and the rooms are very comfortable and provide all you need! It is nice an quiet so we slept really well. The staff are all very friendly and very efficient ! Different restaurant options to choose from. The Spa treatments and products were also very good. I felt very well taken care of and I could have stayed longer! I cannot but highly reccomend this hotel and will continue to return as frequently as possible!

Vittorio and Maurizio at Liola restaurant were the best!!! So kind, wonderful, and very attentive!

Have just returned from a magnificent holiday at the Rocco Forte, Verdura. I have to say it is a true 5 star resort , incredible staff and unreal location . I'm a golf nut , two unbelievable Kyle Phillips c courses with spectacular views of the sea . Course tough , challenging and in fantastic condition . Practice facilities are tour standard . Food is fantastic and hard to choice which restaurant is best but Liola was special . Great local and international wines added to the holiday . Gym is great and the golf widow loved the spa .
Rooms are great and well designed, and what a view we had .
Breakfast was a joy and Angela and the team really care and help .
The resort is a joy , but what stands out is the staff , they really care , so nice and helpful . This not a stuffy resort , just classy , elegant and peaceful .
As you may of guessed , we will return soon . Very soon .
The staff make this resort that bit more special .

Brilliant experience at Liola for dinner.

We are not an easy family with gluten and dairy allergies, but Maurizio and Vittorio were absolutely fantastic and so welcoming. Amazing service.

From the moment we arrived at Vedura Resort in Sicily, we were embraced with the warmest of welcomes. The resort itself is immaculate — every corner spotless, every detail considered — and the service throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional. We were made to feel truly special at every turn.
But what made this trip the most memorable of our lives was the incredible effort that went into making my fiancé's marriage proposal an absolute dream come true. He had been working closely with Angela from the concierge team in the lead-up to our visit, and I cannot express enough how instrumental she was in making the moment perfect. She communicated with him tirelessly, following up on every detail with care, precision, and genuine enthusiasm — nothing was too much trouble.
The proposal itself was breathtaking — tucked away privately amongst the olive groves, intimate and utterly romantic. Flickering candles, beautiful flowers, and the most magical fairy lights created a setting that felt like something out of a film. Dinner was served promptly and flawlessly, and every element came together seamlessly. I said yes with tears in my eyes — and a big part of that magic was down to Angela.
Angela is, without question, an absolute credit to the Vedura team and a true brand ambassador in every sense of the word. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are exceptional, and she clearly takes enormous pride in creating meaningful experiences for guests. She deserves every recognition going.

What a wonderful 3 days! You made us feel so special. A very special thanks to the Team Liola, Serena, and Piero—and to everyone else who made our stay unforgettable. We are already looking forward to coming back again!

This Rocco Forte resort represents the ultimate in comfort and service.
The resort sits comfortably in its Sicilian location with low profile buildings enhanced by strategically placed vegetation. Proximity to a lovely beach and spectacular pool complex makes finding a shady sunspot on comfortable sun beds easy. The spa with its thalassotherapy pools and indoor pool is wonderful.
Multiple restaurants and bar areas provide first class dining and drinking opportunities. The furniture is exceptionally comfortable and the service goes above and beyond what one normally expects.
Two first class golf courses are challenging yet fair and suitable for all levels of play. The use of bicycles around the resort is great fun and we availed ourselves of the Pickle and Paddle courts.
The service from all levels of staff was of the highest calibre, nothing being too much trouble. Particular praise for the spa attendant who noted my wife had cut her foot and offered immediate first aid assistance and to Carola (sic), in the bar and on the beach who remembered all our whims and served with a smile.
Our room was beautiful with great views over the Mediterranean and was kept very tidy.
The old adage of ‘you get what you pay for’ was never more true.

A wonderful family week at Verdura Resort

We had an amazing week at Rocco Forte Verdura Resort, and it has truly been one of the best family holidays we have had.

We stayed with our two-and-a-half-year-old child, and the whole experience has been overwhelmingly positive from beginning to end. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful: the location, the landscape, the sense of space, and the overall atmosphere make it a very special place to relax and spend quality time as a family.

There have been so many highlights. The rooms are wonderful, the service throughout the resort is excellent, and we loved small but meaningful touches such as being able to use the bikes freely to move around the property. It made the whole stay feel easy, relaxed, and enjoyable.

The spa was another standout for us — fantastic facilities, beautifully maintained, and a real pleasure to use several times during the week. My wife also had an amazing treatment there, which was one of the highlights of the stay. The spa team were also incredibly helpful when she lost an earring: not only did they find it, but they thoughtfully arranged for it to be returned to our room with a kind message. It was a small gesture, but one that really showed the care and attention of the team.

The Kids Club also deserves a special mention. The team there has been incredibly welcoming and helpful with our child, making him feel comfortable, included, and entertained. He had a great experience, and as parents that made a big difference to our holiday.

We also want to say a special thank you to the housekeeping team. Our room was always beautifully clean and tidy, and everything was arranged with great care and attention to detail.

A huge thank you goes to the staff, who have been consistently kind, professional, warm, and attentive. Everyone we interacted with helped make the stay special. In particular, we would like to mention Alberto and Leonardo, who were absolutely amazing with us and with our child. They were friendly, supportive, thoughtful, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their warmth made a real difference to our stay.

The food has also been a major highlight. Every restaurant exceeded our expectations. Rather than feeling like typical resort dining, each restaurant felt like an exceptional experience in its own right, with high-quality, gourmet food and a lot of care in both the menu and the service. Absolutely outstanding.

Overall, Verdura Resort has given us a week that feels relaxing, luxurious, family-friendly, and genuinely memorable. We feel very grateful and already hope to return. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so special.

Wonderful location, food and facilities. Most of all, exceptional and friendly service from a first class hotel team. Everyone welcoming and impressive.
