We were visiting the NEC and the Hotel location was ideal. Staff provided a good welcome throughout our stay and dinner was of a good standard.
One room was in the extension and there was a bit of road noise but the second room was garden facing and was very quite.
The staff were all really friendly and accommodating
The shower water wouldn't heat up. Turned it to hot, left it running, and it remained cold.
A friendly greeting at reception. They were well prepared for my arrival. The room was like something from the past, in a good way. Heavy ancient furniture, a high bed, decent in-room facilities. White table cloths and a traditional menu for dinner in the restaurant with friendly service - even proper fish knives - which I haven't seen for years. Excellent breakfast. Good and plentiful parking, with some friendly cats to greet you!
Nothing much. Shower was an old-fashioned electric version with poor water pressure. No USB A/C type in the rooms (my fault for only bringing only one adaptor).
Excelente lugar para quedarse con un staff muy agradable y comprometido
Breakfast really good Christmas decorations brilliant with a lovely atmosphere
Lots of great breakfast options, super friendly staff and really close to the NEC, which was perfect for me!
staff were very pleasant the hotel looks nice and the bed was comfortable
The decor was nice
I dint use the main hotel lounge etc which did look nice nor did I have a meal.
WIFI didnt work, any of the 3 offered. Towels were old and badly fraying. The room was cold although there was a mobile heater in there which I used. The shower was very low pressure.
I’ve like the typical English environment/setting. Staff was so nice and helpful so a big shoutout to a tremensous team at Grimscote!
Room windows cleaned.
Room skylight had no blind of covering as far as I could so was woken at 5am by the light
Friendly staff and good breakfast.
No tv remote and iron burn in the carpet.
Room was good, just needed a king size bed.
Breakfast was nice.
Had a little walk to see the chickens, shame it was raining.
Bigger bed
comfort, food, excellent shower.
Reminded me of Faulty Towers somewhat :) Bit of a strange place with things in the garden like a barge and tunnel, wigwam, multi coloured glass house etc?
TV didn't work, hot water was intermittent, dinner was a bit 'different' in terms of how it was served, not the best....
hot water and TV working
Lovely hotel, very quirky grounds outside were beautiful especially the trees with fairly lights, room was spacious, modern and clean, superb breakfast, staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, our car actually broke down in the grounds and Georgie allowed us to stay in the lounge, in the warmth providing us with pots of tea and couldn’t do enough for us, would highly recommend this hotel and will defiantly be staying in the future .
Nothing we enjoyed every moment of our stay
