The bed was super comfortable. The staff were lovely and polite. Our group arrived too late to eat but they offered to open the kitchen for us. We enede up declining their kind offer. We the left too early for breakfast, so can't comment on the food.
The fact that they have no capacity for a simple snack. The restaurant only does sit down meals. Menu looked good, but we had no opportunity to try it.
The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The service was excellent at the bar and for breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable, with a good shower.
Can't think of anything.
Excellent cooked breakfast, staff were very friendly and attentive
Room was very warm and ceiling was too low in places (I banged my head once as I'm 2 metres tall).
Very pretty building and beautiful grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful
No hot water on both nights at the hotel, requiring maintenance each time to reset the boiler. The room was exceptionally warm even with the small fan and windows open wide. TV/remote didnt work and felt bad saying anything after the issue with the shower as the staff were lovely
Très bel établissement, verdoyant. Décorations originales. Lits confortables.
rien
food is very Good. staff are great
The breakfast was very nice.
The hot water supply in the wash hand basin was very poor. We could only get a trickle of hot water out of the tap. The towel rail was completely cold. The room needed warming up in the evening and before breakfast. The radiators were completely cold.
Came here for Afternoon tea with my mum today. absolutely amazing afternoon tea!! Massive chocolate covered strawberries that taste delicious 😋 lots of sandwiches and other cakes, the scone was warm and very light, very tasty. My first time having a blueberry cupcake but with fresh cream on top instead of icing. Very nice. Beautiful location too.
Beautiful hotel in gorgeous grounds, the suite we had was fabulous. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked with a good choice. We will definately visiting again
Good parking, Room was clean, bed was comfortable & good breakfast.
Big room filled with strange selection of furniture, not suited to the room.
No wardrobe in a room easily big enough for one.
Smallest TV I’ve seen in a hotel in years with extremely poor signal making it unable to be watched.
Ended up watching Netflix on my laptop instead.
Was asked whether I’d like an evening meal in a phone call before arrival yet given no idea of the menu .
On arrival , informed that menu was not available until 6 pm.
Given that I work in commercial kitchens daily & know many chefs, I found it highly unusual to not have a menu decided until 6pm.
Opened the window to get fresh air in room, only to get cooking smells from outlet of kitchen extraction.
So swiftly closed the window again.
Tea & coffee & small kettle in a bread bin rather than a tray.
Check in was smooth with easy access to the NEC - well-presented house, lovely dining room and well-presented room
Where to begin!
Dirty water coming from the sink
Hardly any water trickling from the shower, and not hot meant no shower possible (electric shower and yes it was on!)
Buffering wi-fi
TV is not able to show a programme or a picture
Had a confirmation email saying the room would be a double - it wasn't, it was a twin
Menu limited in my view
No milk in the room - a note saying go back to reception if you wanted milk to make tea on arrival - surely reception staff should offer or ask if milk is required rather than have to make an additional trip to reception.
I have photos and videos to share, but the software won't accept them.
Breakfast was ok. The dining room was empty and lacked atmosphere
Friendly staff, delicious breakfast
Sound from other rooms was apparently not sufficiently isolated.
