Pros:

It was our second year in a row visiting this hotel - 2 adults and a 4 year old. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a one bedroom apartment on the top floor with lovely sea views. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially with children. The hotel is in a lovely quiet safe area but just a short taxi ride to the busy marina. The new fountains were a lovely addition. The hotel is very clean. The rooms a little bit dated but it didn't bother us, once they were clean.

Great hotel- very clean with great staff
Pros:

Lovely hotel resort-spotlessly clean. We had a studio which was very spacious with a very large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It was the best of both worlds- I like an apartment and my friend who I travelled with prefers a hotel so we opted for the studio ( which was like an apartment) with breakfast as an extra .The breakfast was excellent ( good choice of gluten free items ) and you could get lunch / dinner if required . We only ate dinner there once and were a bit disappointed with the food which was surprising as the breakfast was so nice. The staff were great-so helpful . My friend broke her sunglasses and they repaired them for her. A big plus (and it maybe the time of year as we went just after the school holidays) was that there was no scramble for sunbeds. There were always lots available at any time of day. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the marina or a 5 minute taxi ride - we sometimes booked an uber and it was about 5 euros . Overall we loved our stay here- our only small issues were that there was no mirror in close proximity of a plug so difficult to dry your hair, and our balcony was very small and set back between 2 buildings so not a great view. If a balcony space is important to you the 1 bed apartments seem to have a bigger / better balcony or maybe contact the hotel direct to ask for one that is not set back like ours .

Pros:

Good base for the area, car recommended as limited options for dining in the local area. Rooms are great, cleaned daily. Pool areas are good, not crazy busy, plenty of sun loungers.

Pros:

Very old tired hotel, circa 1970's feel about the place.
nothing really good to say about the place other than quite a nice, good sized pool.

Pros:

Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!)

Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché.

The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable.

Breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold options, tea, coffee, juices and all the condiments you could want. The pool bar too is great for food and snacks during the day with the option to pay as you go or add it to the room tab to be paid on check-out. We didn't eat evening meals at the hotel and I haven't tended to over the years, no fault of the hotel just prefer to have a change of scenery for the evening and head to the marina which is a 20 minute stroll away or even shorter taxi ride, or even the local Old Village which has a small selection of bars and restaurants.

Four Seasons is one of the safest and cleanest hotels I have stayed in, staff are always on hand and rooms are tidied/cleaned every day, there is barrier entry to the hotel requiring a fob you get on your room keys.

The rooms are the biggest in any hotel I have stayed at - whether the studios or one-bed apartments (I've not stayed the 2 or 3 beds). They are well equipped with everything you could need (ran out of characters!)

Pros:

Lovely hotel, really welcoming and great pool. Outdoor heated pool isn’t really warm in April some warmer water running into it but not all the time. Otherwise great space in apartment for kids and breakfast!

Pros:

A lovely hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Large studio apartment. Everywhere is kept clean. Breakfast selection is limited, although fine for me. Maintenance work continued on main pool so this was closed. People put towels to reserve sunbeds which would be frustrating at high season. 20 min walk into Vilamoura which was further than we’d thought but an easy walk, so not a problem for us. There is an ‘Old Village’ nearby which is pretty with a few pubs & Spar for food. Mainly British & Irish people.
Vilamoura itself was a little disappointing but not helped by poor weather, we had with lots of rain. Beach would be lovely on a warm day. Found some great restaurants but had to search for these.

Wonderful family holiday accommodation
Pros:

The team were wonderful, helpful and cheerful.
The accommodation, a 5 bedroom villa with its own pool within a complex was a great find and suited our family’s needs perfectly.
The kitchen was modern and well equipped too although we didn’t use it.
