Very well situated hotel with a lovely small garden. We were disappointed with out dinner in their Pitaya restaurant but the lunches we had by the pool were very good.
Beautiful hotel well situated for beach and local shops and restaurants. Very nice pool area and bar especially nice and calm in the evenings. Thank you also to Willy at reception, he was very friendly and helpful- thank you for making our stay special!
Great Hotel! I strongly recommend it. My room was very nice and clean. The pool is blue and clean! The service at the pool bar was excellent (thank you Stan!). The restaurant was very good too (the morning buffet was very good and the night menu was various with local food and very tasty! It's located in a nice area and safe.
The location is excellent, surrounded by bars/restaurants, a block to the marina, maybe two to the beach. Rooms are large, clean, and modern. The grounds in the garden area are beautiful. Maid service was excellent. Breakfast was great, maybe a little pricey at 20-22 euros, but worth it.
A special note of thanks to Swaheli at the front desk. We wanted to take the ferry over to Fort-de-France at a cost of 7 euros. But the ferry kiosk was not working and a taxi would have been 70-80 euros. We tried to download the correct ap on my phone but to no avail. Swaheli then took the time to purchase 2 tickets on her personal phone and then walk over with us to the ferry to show the ticket purchase so we could board. She was so pleasant and helpful through the whole process. Thank you Swaheli!!
Overall, our stay was wonderful and it is easy to recommend this hotel.
La Pagerie exceeded all our expectations. The receptionists were very kind and helpful upon arrival & during checkout. The only thing we disliked and completely unaware of is that we had to pay Euro 300 deposit, which was annoying not knowing before hand. They need to add that in writing when booking the hotel so guests know before hand. Other than that we had an amazing time. Our room was nice and clean we had a great view too, absolutely loved. The pool area was a 10/10, the pool bar staff & food was amazing. We went during low season so the hotel was always nice and quiet which made it much more enjoyable. The hotel is in the middle of everything which made it easy to move around, there’s restaurants and stores all around which all close around 10pm, the beach is like a 5 min walk away, there’s a ferry that can take you from Trois Ilets to Fort de France, the hotel is in a solid location. We did receive our deposit during checkout and were allowed to store our bags at the hotel after checkout while we went out to eat & waited to be picked up. Overall we had an amazing time, it was a very pleasant experience! Love hotel La Pagerie, will be visiting again.
Clean and welcoming
Great Hotel and staff
I felt like an univited guest at a party
We were looking for a place just like this, and, the first time you are somewhere new it can be a bit daunting to find a good hotel. This seemed like it would be such a place, and it didn't disappoint. The room, pool, and staff were marvelous, and while my basic French sufficied for most of the island, most of the desk staff had better English than my French, which was nice. The rooms are very clean and well supplied, there was a nice mimi fridge with tiny freezer, and a Lavazza Blue style espresso machine. The restaurant is very nice, but a bit pricey and gormet, but fun to do a couple of times. There are plenty of nice restaurants in walking distance too. The pool is very nice!
I enjoyed my stay here. My room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. I had two dinners at the hotel's restaurant, which were both excellent. (I wrote a separate review for Restaurant Le Pitaya.) The hotel is across from the Creole Village, with its many shops and restaurants.
I enjoyed my hotel's pool. There is a lovely garden path to the pool. The pool was refreshing, spacious and not too crowded. There is a nice mural on the wall titled "The Return of the Pink Sunset" by Ruben Carrasco, 2023. In the lobby, they have a video of him painting the mural.
I did have one problem, though. As I was getting ready to go to sleep, I turned on the lamp next to my bed and walked to the entrance door to shut off all of the other lights in my room. There were three switches. The one on the left worked. The one on the right worked. But the one in the centre did not. No matter what I did, I could not turn the bedroom lights off. If I pulled out the key card from the slot, then all of the electricity in my room would shut off and I would have no lights whatsoever, nor any AC. I called the front desk. It was 11 p.m. and the night clerk came. He saw the problem, but since the technicians had gone home for the day, no one could come until the next day. He offered me another room, but I did not want to switch late at night. I opened the curtains and pulled out the key card. I had enough light to see where the bed was and it wasn't too warm without the AC. In the morning, the technician came but could not fix it. He would need to contact the power company. I was told to pack my things and was moved to a nearby room. The lights worked fine in the new room!
Everything was pretty good.
Enjoyed my stay at this lovely Garden Hotel. It was conveniently located near restaurants and parking was available on the nearby streets.
The buffet breakfast was delicious! Housekeeping could be improved.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Trois-Ilets!
This is a comfortable hotel, located across the street from the Creole Village, with its shops and restaurants. My room was spacious and modern. Service was excellent. I enjoyed my meals in the hotel's restaurant.
I did have one problem with my room. When I wanted to go to bed, I could not turn off the lights! When the technician could not fix the problem, I was moved to another room.
Resort is very nice with a great location and the center pool is a highlight. Service, while very friendly is very slow. We had to wait 45mins past check-in time to get into our room (3pm check-in) and there were multiple instances where we would be waiting for a bartender or waiter to attend to us. We were on island time, not rushing, but there was an instance where I was the only person at the bar and the bartender let me wait 20 mins so he could finish a conversation with a colleague. Evening restaurant service though was excellent!
Nice stay, nice staff, rooms need a bit of love, bad smell in the bathroom but was fixed at the end. They should have a gym too!
Nice hotel. Very nicely run. Lovely pool area and grounds. Lovely rooms. A good hotel.
We liked our stay at La Pagerie a lot. It’s an easy walk from the ferry, and in a busy lively area.
The staff spoke good English, and check in was easy. Our room had good air conditioning and a big comfy bed. The balcony and coffee making area was also a nice addition.
The grounds were well maintained - look for the pet tortoise’s little pen! The pool was really nice too and the bar staff were friendly and made some great drinks.
The only downside is that parking can be hard to come by in the area so you may need to drive around for a bit if you have a rental car.
Overall we would recommend La Pagerie to anyone staying in Martinique!
Hello, this is one of the best trips that I ever had in my life. Your hotel accommodations were all of that and then a scale one to 10 I gave you guys a 10. We will be visiting again . Thanks Stacey Harris
Great location. On site parking is very limited. Nearby public parking is often full.
Fantastic area!
