The owner was very friendly and professional, as well as the General Manager and indeed all the staff we interacted with. The place had a very good feel to it, like a 'mountain chalet hotel', with excellent views to the Perthshire hills from the main window. The Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent in every respect. The accommodation was good value for money compared to other establishments- would stay again. Modern upgraded Shower room. There are also pet dog friendly.
Some dust and cobwebs behind bedroom furniture and windows. The windows were single glazed, and there was a little road noise early morning- I believe the Owner could charge more- if the windows were upgraded to double or secondary glazing.
Overall the food was good, but my steak was tough and lacked taste.
View from veranda at front of hotel
Room had obstructed view, we were expecting clear view across open countryside (judging from photos) Food disappointing and second rate, both dinner and breakfast.... but was replaced. Having had six other bookings in various locations over two weeks this was overall the poorest value for money.
Location, charm , food , atmosphere , staff
Hotel has a look of a Swiss Chalet from outside, beautiful quiet location and lovely, friendly staff . We intended to eating town so didn't book a table for dinner, however our choices were limited and we managed to get a table in the Hotel, Food was lovely and service was excellent.
Internal décor is a little old fashioned but it's comfortable and has charm
Beautiful room with separate room to relax, read or watch TV . Modernised but retaining its character. The furniture and paintings suited the house. We had a lovely breakfast. Would certainly stay again
Location is excellent. A short walk from the main town and central to many of the places of interest nearby.
Delicious!
Very peaceful and quiet. The young lady who welcomed us was amazing and very helpful.Thought we had booked a room ,nice surprise to have a sitting room on to the garden. The evening meal and the breakfast were amazing ,watched deer troting through the fields while we ate. Very relaxing.Room very clean bathroom very spacious.
Nothing
Cet établissement est idéalement situé. Cuisines de qualité ! Humeur fabuleuse
Very dog friendly and food was excellent
Breakfast was good. The hotel had a bar and restaurant but also option to walk into town to go to one of the many bars/restaurants in town. Lovely view out of the bedroom window.
Only had one of each (for example towels, coffee cup, water, etc). Had to request two of each item needed.
De locatie, prachtig uitzicht bij avondeten en ontbijt. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel.
Met een kleine wandeling naar bijzijnde dorp Aberfeldy
