Pros:

Honestly, the hotel does the job.
If you expect a 5* luxury experience, this is not for you.
Although the room is small, it's extremely convenient.
It's clean, the bed is comfy, and I was surprised by the quality of the pillows.
The staff is always willing to help.

So, in the ultra expensive landscape of hotels in Singapore, 81 Hollywood is a great bargain. Just make sure you don't have too high expectations.

One of the rooms, 711, the aircond was malfunctionning, which resulted in the room being a chiller.

Pros:

The location was close to the city. The room size is small. It was clean.

Cons:

The room would have been checked before given the keys. The extra paid bathtub was leaking. The hand shower was broken. But the staff was supportive of changing to a new one. The kettle was not working. linnen was clean. The toilet was really cramped and not easy to sit in at all. That was the worst of all. Otherwise, it was value for money.
