Pros:

Werkelijk prachtig gelegen boetiekhotel met zeer uitstekend restaurant. Ideaal voor een bezoek aan het idyllische Santa Maria del Monte en de Sacromonte di Varese. Zeer rustig. Uniek uitzicht op de Po-vlakte en de meren rond Varese. Prachtig gerestaureerd gebouw in 'Liberty stijl' (= Italiaanse Art Nouveau).

Cons:

De vruchtensalade bij het ontbijt was niet meer vers (drie dagen na elkaar!).
De parking is zeer moeilijk toegankelijk en bruikbaar, zeker voor een grote wagen, beter elders parkeren of aan het zusterhotel.
Er is geen airco op de kamer, enkel een plafondventilator. Normaal is dat geen probleem, maar bij de uitzonderlijk hoge temperaturen van de zomer '26 is het nauwelijks uit te houden.
De kamer zelf en de badkamer zijn erg klein voor een 4* hotel.

Een leuke bar en restaurant aanwezig dus er hangt een levendige sfeer met vriendelijk personeel.
