The Peacock Hotel

The location was great for what we needed but the hotel itself was diabolical! When we first arrived in the car park we were greeted to someone smoking weed with a bottle of wine tucked behind his leg. The room we stayed in stunk of urine and was not very clean at all ! The smoking of weed never stopped the entire time we were there which was only one night !! Thank god !
Hot water was hit and miss, the breakfast was ok, the staff were good.
Given the option I would have booked some where else to stay !
I would never go back to this place !!

Well where do I begin, my first room was okay until I tried to put the electric heating on and the fuse tripped and the socket started smoking, we were given what they call a superior room round the back which had no hot water or even warm water, the towel radiator in the bathroom leaked and the hand soap looked like it had been there for probably 5 years. The fire alarm went off at 4 am and from 6am my room stunk of cannabis… I would NOT recommend anyone to waste their money on this establishment.

Generally very good for two-night stay. Room clean and comfortable. Raffles Experience - Singapore sling cocktail, three-course dinner, wine, liqueur coffee - very good value, recommended.
Only real cause for complaint was noise from room above, but probably not much can be done about that.

I stayed at the Peacock Hotel in Kenilworth for one night last week and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel offers excellent value for money and I would happily recommend it.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a short stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was welcoming and relaxed, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I also had breakfast and drinks at the Feather Bar and Grill within the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and well presented, with a good selection, and the bar was a great spot to unwind in the evening. The drinks were reasonably priced and the service was attentive.
Overall, a great stay in a convenient location, with good food and a comfortable room at a fair price. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for quality without overspending.

We stayed here for 4 hours no staff to be found on check in then the room was freezing cold and grubby when I returned to the reception to complain again no one present so decided to to go out to warm up and leave heat on on leaving the smell of cannabis was everywhere we came back 4 hours latter to an even colder room and to be offered drugs it’s almost like they live there or perhaps work there anyway we decided to drive the 4 hours home ate 10 pm rather than spending a freezing cold hotel with drugs all around us in short do not use this terrible place

The hotel was clean and tidy. The housekeeping was excellent. The Staff were most helpful as we needed to book in early due to a function we were attending.

Awful place - old, tired and incredibly noisy. When i say old and tired, this place has not been updated in what looks like, 20 years.

Parking area seemed dark and shady. Gelt unsafe to leave the car parked there .

Disgusting, dirty, obnoxious staff just out to make money for such a low quality horrendous level of service.

The room smelt of smoke and was absolutely filthy.

Quirky little place. Comfy beds with a spacious room. A little dusy but otherwise very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, always a bonus

Well decorated, clean room. Comfy bed . Close to amenities. Great value for the money charged. On arrival discovered 2 restaurants'@ the Peacock - European & Malaysian. Chose Malaysian & it was excellent - hadn't ever had a Malaysian meal, so to find a hotel with this was was a special treat. All reasonably priced. Full cooked breakfast & everything we needed for buffet breakfast. Will def book again if in the area. Super, polite & cheery staff.

I often come and stay while visiting my daughter in Warwick University. Hotel rooms are very spacious and clean. Hotel staff is very professional and very helpful. Worth the money, highly appreciated. Enjoyed every stay in this hotel. Free parking and excellent food

Noisy room. Bit of a smell in the room too. Otherwise ok.

Unclean & noisy. Very disappointed . Anywhere that was easily accessible in the room was dusty & dirty . The shower was barely more than a trickle & unusable. Also the flush on the toilet was not in the least user friendly . My room was very noisy being next to a door that was an exit , proving very noisy with constant banging as it was in constant use . The hotel interior is very tired ! & in dire need of a freshen up & decorating , paint work is peeling off , furniture chipped The chair at the dresser in my room was ripped & filthy..

Room was dirty with stains and what looked like dry food on the tv and remote shower barely worked and room wasn’t as advertised I’m requesting a partial refund

We stay at the Peacock frequently when we visit family in the area. Always friendly and quick to respond to our needs and to any problems that arise.
Comfortable rooms with good bathroom facilities.
Conveniently situated for shops and a good centre for tourist attractions in the area.
We will use the Peacock again.

The room was very quiet and comfortable and excellent value, especially as it was upgraded from a single. A good breakfast and the staff were all helpful.

The service is second to none.
My only gripe was that the air conditioning did not work in the room ( fantastic room).

We alighted here for lunch! It was an amazing experience and the Indian varitiea were too good! The people are also very sweet and courteous.
