Rosengarten

Very nice and comfortable room. Great view from the balcony and fantastic food in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and dinner

We had a wonderful stay at Rosengarten. The hotel has a rustic but also modern feel. The room and views were beautiful. The hotel restaurant was also excellent, we ate two dinners and two breakfasts there and it was a real unexpected highlight. We showed up late for dinner one night after they had finished up but the staff were very accommodating and still put together a great meal for us. Overall it was a great and very authentic experience.

Bellissima struttura a Dobbiaco, nuova, pulita e molto accogliente. Ottima Cena e colazione con il personale davvero molto gentile e attento al dettaglio. Sicuramente consigliato per brevi e lunghi soggiorni.

La struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco, le camere sono spaziose e soprattutto silenziose pur essendo alcune verso strada.La vista è davvero spettacolare!
Ottima colazione e il personale davvero disponibile!

Non posso fare altro che CONSIGLIARE la prenotazione su questa struttura.

Room is ok not the best though

Struttura situata appena fuori dal paese e vicino alla strada, questo rende la camera piuttosto rumorosa per via del traffico. Dopo quattro piani senza ascensore si raggiunge la mansarda, dove è posizionata la camera singola. Bagno molto piccolo con vasca senza alcun box, in cui bisgona farsi la doccia seduti perchè in piedi non ci si sta per il soffitto molto basso. Molto buona e varia la colazione. Propritario molto freddo, risponde alle domande di fretta, senza dedicare grande attenzione agli ospiti.

The Teutonic owner frowned upon guests who booked his hotel via Hotels.com, but he wouldn't tell us what the charge would be if I booked WITHOUT Hotels.com. He was nice enough to let us have a better room. He showed us a tiny room in the attic and told us that it was what we were supposed to have by Hotels.com's booking. For this we were thankful to him. He gets good reviews for his meals. We asked the price for dinner - 22 euros per person. It was beyond our budget so we went to town and had a more economical dinner. Nevertheless, we enjoyed out stay. The room was nice and clean. WiFi signal was a bit of problematic on the 5th floor. The lady of the house kept an eye on her customers throughout the breakfast. Maybe some guests did bad things to them? Like stealing food from the all you can eat breakfast? We didn't know.

Wonderful facility and very attentive staff. Our room was spacious and well appointed.

Zdecydowałem się na wybór Rosengarten ze względu na położenie. W promieniu kilkunastu kilometrów jest kilka pięknych miejscowości Dobbiaco, Inichen, Sesto. Niedaleko jest tez do Lago di Braies. W pensjonacie panuje bardzo przyjazna domowa atmosfera, wszyscy są mili i pomocni, jest czysto, śniadania są smaczne. Polecam tym, którzy nie lubia wielkich hoteli i tłumów gości.

Abbiamo trascorso una notte al Rosengarten, come campo base per affrontare il giorno dopo il percorso ciclabile San Candido-Lienz (posizione comodissima, a una manciata di chilometri dalla stazione di San Candido. Siamo stati molto bene. La struttura è bella, molto ben tenuta e ospitale. Si trova lungo la strada principale della Val Pusteria, ma a ridosso del paese di Dobbiaco, ed in posizione estremamente strategica per varie escursioni. I gestori sono cordiali e ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni che abbiamo chiesto. Torneremo senz'altro.

4 giorni in paradiso. Albergo semplice ed accogliente, il personale gentile ed amichevole. Vicino al paese, piccolo ma amorevole immerso tra le montagne, giganti buoni da farti levare il fiato. Pochi passi dal lago di Dobbiaco, 2h da quello di Braies. Tutto in torno solo verde e silenzio. La natura fa da padrona ovunque. Le camere danno sulla valle, a prima mattina ti svegli con un quadro attaccato alla finestra, incredulo su quello che vedi. Consiglio a tutti di passere almeno 3 giorni in posti così.

mooie kamer en vriendelijke personeel. alleen, zou ik niet het "restaurant" adviseren. dat is eigenlijk naar een kantine omdat er geen keuze is... en vond ik het eten niet lekker. hetzelfde geldt voor het ontbijt: niet geweldig. voor de rest is deze hotel prima

I loved this hotel. It's smaller hotel, but bigger than a Bed and Breakfast, but all are in the region. Each of the rooms were different. Mine had a wonderful view of the mountains, my friend's had a sauna in his bathroom. The rooms were clean, upscale and artsy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was average, but adequate. We walked to a nearby restaurant and had one of the best meals I've had in my life. A great jumping off point for the Dolomites. I highly recommend this hotel and if I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

The Rosengarten was a last minute change in travels. It's easily one of my favorite hotel/B&B stays. Great location, easy to walk to public transit, a little in the country, and a very nice clean room.

The staff are the true definition of hosts. They helped find appropriate and challenging hikes and were always courteous and helpful.

I can't wait to come back a explore the Dolomites even more.
