Pension in Paradise
Pros:

This hotel is a simple pension in one of the world's most beautiful locations. It is family run and the personnel were very friendly. We took half pension and the food was good and plentiful and mostly Italian. Our room was clean but very small and rather plain. Free wifi was available in the lobby area, but not in the room. The Pension is wonderfully located for hiking, biking and winter sports in season, and there are beautiful views in every direction. We thought that it was very good for the price.

La nevicata eccezionale!
Pros:

Siamo arrivati all'Hotel la sera di Natale 2013 e ci siamo svegliati il mattino successivo sotto una nevicata veramente eccezionale!!! Impossibile andare a sciare e, da lì a poche ore, anche transitare, visitare negozi, cenare in ristoranti .. il tutto a causa dell'interruzione dell'energia elettrica che a Villabassa è durata per 24 ore!!! Ciò nonostante il personale dell'hotel (soprattutto Barbara) è stato bravo a mantenere il comfort sia in stanza che nelle aree comuni, notiziandoci continuamente su ciò che accadeva, munendoci di candele, procurandosi un generatore di corrente per le emergenze. L'hotel è poco più che una pensione famigliare, con una grande sala ristorante, colazione discreta, camere semplici ma accoglienti e un bellissimo e grande centro wellness con due tipi di sauna.
Lo consiglierei a chi non ha grosse pretese ma cerca un ambiente caldo, pulito e famigliare. Forse un po' caro, ma si sa ... a Natale è così.....
Non escludo di tornarci.
