Lovely quiet location with view of the lake. Kim at reception was delightful.
The stay, facilities, food, service apart from booking in and the conference we were attending was great.
Confusion over the online booking and I feel we were overcharged due to a misunderstanding. The explanation given was inadequate.

The location, bathroom and service was amazing. There were lots of things to choose from on TV too. We asked for a portable cot for our son and that was supplied for an extra cost, but was put up nicely and made with lots of blankets for the cold winter night we stayed.
The size of the room was quite small for what we paid for.
One of the best restaurants in Taupo! Everything else was as good as we expected.
It would have been nice to have a room in level 1, but that wasn’t a problem.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber soweit noch gut im Schuss, zum Glück hat die Aircon gut funktioniert da es die ganze Nacht gestürmt hat und es eiskalt war draussen. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Reception.

Nothing,everything was good
We were in room 30. Had a lovely view of the lake. The room was lovely and warm when we arrived . We would have loved to have had an Evening meal there but it was booked out until after 8.00. Maybe when people are booking you could advise them to book early for Evening meal if they need one so that they are not disappointed. Overall stay was great. Thank you we will return.
Absolutely loved staying here, comfortable, loved the hot pool and the restaurant food was absolutely incredible!
