Very happy
Pros:

So pleasantly surprised.
The staff are so warm and friendly from reception to the bubbly bar staff at jack rabbit.
I had breakfast twice at Jack Rabbit and both times so delicious.
I travel alot and stay in many hotels only home for 5 days a month.
You should give godley hotel a go it's great

Convenient to all amenities
Pros:

Despite the cold weather, the room was nice and warm. The location was excellent as it looked out across Lake Tekapo and it was within walking distance of all the restaurants of Lake Tekapo township .

Cons:

We could hear the people in the room above us walking around.

Pros:

Great view! Bed was comfy!

Cons:

The balcony was shared, therefore anyone could walk to my balcony door. There was a leak in the bathroom, where water bubbled up through the grout.

We enjoyed our stay but guests should be prepared to eat out.
Pros:

Excellent location close to everything Tekapo has to offer. Nice restaurant attached with excellent food and wine offerings by friendly staff.

Cons:

Perhaps a microwave and extra cutlery might be a good addition.

Cons:

Room was cold. Receptionist told us that there was central Heater. But it was cold whole night. No night lamp. Lights were too bright for the night and multiple lights turned on with 1 switch. Room was congested.

Good location but room dated & noisy on ground floor level
Pros:

The location, proximity to the church and to all the main street shops and night market.

Cons:

Tiny noisy room which is very dated, and the furnishings & bathroom need upgrading.
There was a tour group staying as well, which I imagine happens often and as we were on the ground floor, we heard every footstep and door slam from above & had a whole herd of tourists above us getting ready, slamming doors & stomping around early in the morning. Would not stay here again except possibly on the upper levels.
