The only inconvenience was the water valve for the toilet was shut off. I figured it was odd and maybe there was a leak. I turned it on, and it seemed fine. I tried to use the in-room phone to call the desk and the phone did not work.

I let the desk know in the morning and the clerk was nonchalant... like it was a common practice... no apologies or concern.
