The room was dirty. It looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in years. The beds were rough. The pillows were flat. The ac made horrible noises and kept freezing up. This hotel does not meet Wyndham standards at all. It is reminiscent of a no-tell motel.
Beds stink, breakfast terrible, rooms need updating especially carpet, staff were friendly and helpful
The front desk check in was not a friendly experience. The room was filthy. The pillows were at the end of their life stained and dirty. I bought new pillows. The area around and in the steps were littered with cigarette butts. The carpets were so filthy I would not walk in them without shoes. The curtains were falling down. There were dried droplets around the toilet. I would not shower.
Motel very worn and not the cleanest we could smell the pot from two doors down the outside needs to be cleaned up
I'm in town due to the passing of a family member. This particular Days Inn(one of the few hotels in Oneonta, AL) has ROACHES. When I went for a refund they said they would have to charge for half the day, because I'm a rewards member and I booked with a discount. I didn't even stay, I left due to the ESTABLISHMENT NOT BEING CLEAN, and I would not be sleeping with ROACHES. I have a child traveling with me, and that's no condition to be staying in. I recommend finding another place to stay. DAYS INN PLEASE DO BETTER
If you want to sleep in filth while breathing in dirty air, this is the place to stay. The heat/air unit needed the filters cleaned in order for the unit to function properly. The carpet, desk chair and table tops were all nasty. Didn't dare check the coffee maker. Booked for 2 nites but only stayed 1 nite. Had to shorten our trip visiting family.
This was our second stay. The room was clean and smelled nice.
I rated four stars because it needs a little updating with new bedspreads.
Water pressure in the shower was excellent. All amenities were provided.
This review is for Room 115.
1. One of the beds had a huge hole in the middle of the mattress.
2. I dropped my earpiece it rolled under the bed, there was trash from previous visitors...soda bottlecaps, tissue etc.
3. Exterior door missing chain or latch for added safety.
4. There was no nightstand lamp. The only lights were at entrance and over faucet area. These lights were dem and did not have a reach near the bed. Therefore it was always nearly dark in room. Forget about reading while in bed.
5. The desk chair has horrible multiple stains whereas there was never any attempt to clean previous spills. Again, using the desk for your laptop was out of the question.
6. There was no "Do not disturb" sign in my room to prevent cleaning crew from entering while I was away.
7. lastly, I choose this place because it was pet friendly. I arrived and was told there was no available rooms for my pet. I was told that I should've called to check...this was not listed as a requirement on the website. Thank goodness I was visiting family and they took my pet.
Horrible stay, I will never return nor encourage someone to stay there.
We came to the Days Inn after attending a concert in Birmingham. The hotels in Birmingham were ridiculously expensive or felt very unsafe. The Hotel and town was a breath of fresh air compared to what we saw in Birmingham- quiet, well kept and felt safe. While I generally do not prefer exterior access rooms, this was just a good, basic no frills choice. Staff was pleasant and check-in was easy.
So outdated, unclean, rude staff, breakfast was vending machine food, mold, doors don’t lock and close right, all key cards we deactivated at midnight before check out, not worth money, and so much more
Room was nasty. Blood on wall. Burned carpet. Cigarette smell. Crumbs in floor from previous guest. Moved us to another room and it was just as bad. Friends that stayed next door found roaches in their room.
I was worried about booking a room because of the negative reviews but I'm glad I took a chance. Room was clean, smelled good and staff was pleasant and helpful. Needless to say we will be back to visit.
Rooms are nice and clean. Everything works and is modern. Front desk folks are friendly and easy to get along with. Parking is straightforward and plentiful. Prices are reasonable and never have had any issues. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby.
Worst motel ever roaches everywhere drug activity prostitution found needles and syringes everywhere linens not clean at all worst stay eversuggest the bama motel before it and it is very bad motel crack motel
So we were on the way from Florida to TN and wanted to take our time with the family and go swimming and have a little fun. We booked this hotel in advance and saw the pictures and it looked really well. 3 start hotel. When we got there it was HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING and looked like a trap house. Strip club right across the road. The pictures on here CAN NOT BE THIS HOTEL. The complete opposite of what we saw in the pictures. FALSE ADVERTISING AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! We payed 103 dollars for one night at what should be a 0 star hotel. BEWARE! Stains on the covers, bugs on the AC UNIT, black mold ALL over the bath tub, bath tub paint peeling, dresser was falling apart, WiFi did not work at all even with password, nothing was like the pics they show. Price should of been 50 bucks tops.
Mattresses was horrible springs sticking thru the mattress the carpet was very dirty could not walk on the carpet without flip flops the room needs to be updated bad the towels were very rough and not working
They are always friendly and treat me like family. Easy in and easy out anything needed was there or just a call away. The pool is clean and all the staff is helpful everything is conveniently located near the hotel
The pet friendly room was degusting! It reeked of pee and had large stains on the carpet. We were forced to make other accommodations for our dog so that we could be moved to another room. This room was better but still not very clean. There was pee on the bottom of the toilet seat and our toddler found dog kibble wedged into the corner of the carpet. The shower stopped working while we we in between people showering.
When I went into the bathroom there was a cockroach on the bathtub . Then I was watching TV and another cockroach was on the ceiling. Disgusting. Never will return. It truly was disgusting. I do not recommend this hotel ever.
We have family in this small Alabama town, so I opted for a reservation at the only "name brand" hotel in the area. What a mistake...this place is disgusting...literally nothing good to say....bed, horrible; shower, horrible; maid service...oh, they forgot to clean our room; television, horrible; free breakfast, non existent, they used the Corona Virus excuse and offered nothing...
Seriously, this place is awful....the fitted sheets don't fit the bed, so they come off during the night, the towels are like tissue...seriously, not one redeeming quality...if you are considering this hotel....don't.
