Good stay, great location but wouldn't consider going back.
Pros:

the location was beautiful, enjoyed the environment and friendly staff at reception and the responsiveness of the housekeeping and maintenance team.

Cons:

The room facilities were dated, and unfortunately the gas fireplace was not functioning during our stay. The maintenance team spent almost an hour attempting to repair it while we were in the room, but despite their efforts, the fireplace remained inoperable.
Given the low outdoor temperatures, the room became quite cold and uncomfortable. As we were travelling with two young children, it made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay, particularly when we had to leave the warmth and comfort of our beds.

For a quick get away, this was the perfect spot to regroup and have a romantic get away.
Pros:

Secluded to make you feel like you are far away from anything, yet you are still very close to the highway and Muldersdrift.
The catering was mouthwatering, the staff always friendly and wanting to assist. Breathtaking views and activities to recharge.

Pros:

I did not have the breakfast as I have left early however the breakfast pack was amazing.
I loved everything about the place

I wish the walking trail had some lights / well lit for when one wanted to do a night walk ..

Great stay at Kloofzicht
Pros:

The food and service at the restaurant was great. The room was very neat and we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

More coffee in the room could be provided. The hot tub is great, but perhaps look at more privacy options, as one don't want people at the dam and driving past to see you. We also couldn't see any instructions to lower the heat of the hot tub or how to switch it off at night.

Pros:

Absolutely loved the place!

Cons:

I would like a bar, bistro that serves burgers and pizza in the evening.. We unfortunately had very loud neighbour's on our first night, staff acted and sorted it.

Lovely room shocking breakfast
Pros:

Loved the rooms they are locations and well
laid out

Cons:

The breakfast is a disaster . No order only one omelette station and the staff are no where to be found unless you’re there for the balloon tour. The buffet style breakfast could be split so that two rows can come and go

Not 5 star worthy.
Pros:

The scenery is gorgeous.

Cons:

The staff at the front desk were not welcoming. I immediately felt hostility towards me.

There is zero to do at night except have dinner. No other form of night entertainment was available which in turn made the evenings boring.

I had a message, and having had many around the world, I rated this one as the worst. The room was cold, the bed was cold and it felt like a hard body rub down. My skin was pinched several times. The absence of a pleasant soothing smell upon entering the room was also observed. There were tissues placed where my face lay on the doughnut hole that stuck to my face and broke up into several pieces. It just was not a pleasant experience at all. Very disappointing to say the least.

Cosy, tranquil and peaceful stay.
Pros:

Warm welcome from staff, our porter was lovely and answered all my questions about the facility. He even assisted with lighting the fireplace.

Cons:

We missed breakfast, so didn’t get to enjoy that, hopefully next time.

All in all I really had a lovely experience and would definitely come back again.
Pros:

It’s very quiet and beautiful and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I can’t stop thinking about the omelette I had.

Cons:

The buffet at dinner was cold.
