ST Residences Novena

My husband and I went here last February 8 to 16, 2025. We were welcomed by very accommodating staff. Our room 501A was clean, spacious and well maintained. The kitchenette was great and provided basic cookwares and complete set of dinnerwares for two. The location was near the MRT Novena that makes easy to travel.

I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place! The customer service was exceptional—the staff were incredibly kind, always willing to assist, and responded promptly, even late at night. Any minor issues I encountered were resolved immediately. The room amenities were also excellent. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, with a variety of pillows to choose from, ranging from soft to more firm. The balcony provided a peaceful space to relax, and I appreciated the twice-weekly room cleaning service. Additionally, the washing machine and other appliances functioned flawlessly throughout my stay.

Another great convenience was the handling of mail and packages. The staff received all deliveries without any issues and simply notified me when I needed to collect them from the lobby. The outdoor seating areas were also a highlight, offering plenty of space to unwind. There were two seating areas—one on the top floor and another on the ground level—both providing a comfortable environment to relax or work.

However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. My room had two TVs, but they lacked YouTube and had limited channels, so I had to connect my Apple TV to stream content. The gym was quite small, and the machines were old—while I initially thought it would be sufficient, it ended up feeling too cramped. The pool was decent, but its location, surrounded by tall buildings, meant that it received very little sunlight, which limited its usability. Despite these minor drawbacks, my overall experience was excellent, and I would gladly stay here again.

This serviced apartment was a great stay for my 10 days in Singapore. I think you have to stay a minimum of a week. It’s conveniently located in a safe area. It’s 5-10 minutes to bus stops and a MRT. It’s 15 minutes to Velocity Mall and the Pek Kio Hawker Center. It’s an area that’s walkable and generally close to the major tourist attractions. The pool was clean and in good condition. It was 1.2M deep, so can swim but not too deep. There were pool towels available. There’s a small gym that’s usually empty. There’s one treadmill, one elliptical, some weights. It’s air conditioned with drinking water available. One housecleaning per week is provided. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had basics of what’s needed. There is are laundry machines available, but I got the room that came with a washing machine inside. There was a drying rack on the balcony to use. The kitchen had a microwave, a small oven, water boiler, utensils, knives, fridge, two pots, two dishes/ mugs/ plates/ bowels/ glasses. The bathroom had towels and body wash and shampoo. The bed was really comfortable. I felt that it was easy to communicate with the staff via Whatsapp for all my needs. This place isn’t fancy, but I felt super comfortable and can’t think of anything that I needed that wasn’t available. I would definitely stay here again. There’s a parking lot at the bottom of the building.

Tips:
- Don’t forget to bring your international outlets. There’s no plugs for just USB. You can get an international plug at Gadget Mix at the nearby mall.
- The tap water in Singapore is supposedly ok to drink. I drank it without issues.
- Don’t leave food out because it can easily attract ants.
- The TV is not a smart TV. But I thought the internet was consistent and the speed adequate for Netflix.

Nice apartment in a really good location: if you want more space, a washing machine, and a great convection to the MRT system, this is the place. Just be aware that the photos are maybe 10 years old and so are the apartments. Wallpaper is coming off, and the wood floor has been repaired a couple of times. Anyhow, all is is squeeky clean and problems are resolved quickly, and staff is very helpful and courteous. If you need space and your own apartment at a good price, take it. If you want luxury, or 'really nice', do not.

No frills stay in Singapore. The rooms were quite small but that's pretty much all homes in Singapore but it was quite well organized and equipped with pretty much everything we needed. The mall was about 10 minutes walk and the public bus was around a 100 feet. Overall a really nice place in a residential neighborhood and good bang for the buck.

Wonderful studio apartment in a fantastic location, with shops and a mall within walking distance. The kitchen is fully equipped, making the stay stress-free. The unit was clean, well-appointed, and the host was very organized. Highly recommend!

The place is old, and a bit run down. Good location, 7 mins walk to a shopping mall/mrt.

The place is very near novena shopping mall and huge hospital. Very easy and accessable. We had a great stay there, thebonly draw back was that the Aircon remote was not in full function, thus we need to turn it off after midnite because it was too cold.

Great stay, a couple of issues with the air conditioning but sorted and very helpful.

Room is very comfortable, and the road was very quiet. Is very close to a number of locations.

Staff was very helpful. Did not see anyone in the lobby, most of the time But by WhatsApp , They are prompt in responding and were quite helpful

Friendly and efficient staff. Nice and clean place with amenities near shopping malls, subway and city centre.

The property is not 5 star or 4 star if you expect that but, within its classification, it is very good & sufficient for staying safe & near amenities in Singapore.
10 minutes walk to Novena station full of shops & restaurants.
The room is good & clean & staff excellent & always helpful. If you manage to get a bigger room with balconies then you have no worries at all. We weren’t that lucky due to rooms being fully booked.
I highly recommend this place.

Easy to commute, quiet, clean

There is no person manning reception, all communication is thru whatsapp, unless you read the flyer closely you won't get a room clean unless you ask for it. Wifi was extremely poor within my room. Pool area is aging, tiles are missing around the pool.

It is a serviced apartment and in a nice residential area. Close to the Novena hub with good SMRT links. Cleaning is on request. It was fine for our purposes and the nearby supermarket is well stocked.

Overall the stay was good. Very quiet and clean.

Things to improve:

TV (TV was garbled with little channels to choose)

Dryer (3 defective dryers: one didn't even dry my clothes after 90mins, one with dryer door that cannot close, and one with the dryer fan dislodged.. my clothes were dry but the fan dislodged onto my clothes, covering it with fabric particles.)

Great stay and very helpful staff! Location is good, close to amenities (Novena MRT)

Advertised as "sleep 3", but actual sofa is too short for a third adult to sleep on. Property rep explained that its for 2 adult and 1 child (sharing bed with adults). That's not how I understand "sleep 3".
